What an amazing stay at Centro Port Macquarie. The staff were amazing, so friendly, cheerful and helpful. The room was sensational, large, roomy and clean. The room size was important as my hubby is battling cancer and having a spacious room and bathroom was imperative. The food was amazing at the restaurant, one of the best steaks we have ever hard. The bar staff were professional and excellent. We plan to return after my hubby's next chemo treatment. A big thank you to you all at this wonderful stay at Port Macquarie . Congratulations on running an outstanding place to relax and enjoy wonderful food. Once again thank you.

Stayed for one night for a work function. The function was in the same building, The room was clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. It was central to everything and in a great location to access food and other necessities. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the checkin in and out process was simple and quick. The air conditioning was a bit noisy overnight and if you’re on a higher level, the lift takes a long time if there are lots of people using it.

Staff were lovely. The rest of the experience left a bit to be desired. Walked into a hot room, looked at the air con and it was set to 29 degrees. Yes it's winter but even then, 29 is way too hot... wouldn't be so bad but it took forever to cool down so we went to bed hot. Toilet flush button worked but was broken and would pop out whenever flushing. Bathroom door didn't latch properly as handle was broken. Expected a nicer experience overall from a supposed "4 star hotel"

A little below expectations for a Mercure Branded Hotel. Room was ‘OK’, a little tired and time for a good clean. Our room has a definite animal (dog) smell. Check in was lengthy (20 minutes)! Staff were friendly and on site parking was good. Great location close to a variety of dining options.

We love staying at this hotel. It is a great location & the staff are alway friendly & helpful. The bar is lovely & cocktail happy hour is fantastic. We love the ease of casting to our phone to watch movies. Also love the coffee bags & hot chocolate sachets in our room. The pool is small but excellent. This visit though the bed was extremely uncomfortable & very old, needs replacing, we did report this to the staff on check out. Also because I booked through a third party because it was a cheaper rate they would not link the stay to my accor membership to accrue points. Its a shame that I did not know that the hotel will always price match with third party sites!
