Firstly, contact the VenueNow team by submitting an enquiry or speaking to one of our team members online or over the phone. We'll need to collect a few details from you, such as your:
- Event type
- Number of people attending
- Preferred event date & time (and if this is flexible)
- Budget (per person or total)
- Room layout
- Food and beverage / catering requirements
- Any other requirements

Once we've gathered these details, the VenueNow team will contact the team at Big Poppa's to check:
1) Can they host the event on your preferred date / time? If not, what are some alternate dates / times?
2) What is the estimated cost based on your event requirements?

This process tends to take around 1 business day on average to receive a response from the venue. Once we've received a response, the VenueNow team will contact you as soon as possible.

If you're happy with the proposed price and dates / times, the VenueNow team will connect you with Big Poppa's to finalise your booking (which may include a site visit if you choose to do so).

Big Poppa's bar is a popular destination for locals in Darlinghurst, known for its classy cocktails and menu. The kitchen stays open late so you can enjoy your meal even after midnight when most restaurants close down shop! With over 30 varieties of cheese on hand to choose from at this casual small joint, there's something here worth getting into each time. It is also worth checking out their flavorful menu, where you can order their signature dishes such as the lamb shoulder ragu and salumi (a selection of their cured meats), and their many different choices of pizza, pasta and panini. Their private bar is discreetly tucked away in the back corner of the restaurant, complete with its own seating area and a wide selection of drinks to choose from. With all there is on offer, your trip to this notorious spot will surely be worth it!

Big Poppa's, Darlinghurst is an affordable and clean venue that has a wide selection of spaces available for hire. The venue has an upstairs and downstairs area. Upstairs, there is a balcony with space for up to 90 people. There are also five private rooms that can hold up to 20 people each.

However, to truly enjoy your experience at Big Poppa's, it is highly recommended that you descend the winding stairs and enter their cocktail bar area, where there's extra space with a stage suitable for performances where you can fit 200 people. They even have a total exclusive hire of the venue. Big Poppas bar also has a dance floor where you can enjoy your party time!

Big Poppa's restaurant is open daily for dinner, from 5 pm to 3 am.

This Italian restaurant offers a range of authentic Italian dishes, from classic pastas to pizza and panini. Big Poppa's also offers a wide selection of wines and beers, cocktails, and other spirits. There is also an extensive cheese menu available.
