Overpriced and Underwhelming We paid $450 per night for a garden bungalow for one adult and one teenager. It was devastatingly bad. The Villa is in disrepair. Microwave doesn’t work, sliding doors to bathrooms are off their tracks so don’t close giving no privacy. The carpets and furniture are worn and stained. Dead roaches. Outdoor furniture so ruined it wouldn’t be safe to sit on. I messaged the management on the first afternoon (I assume each unit is own and in a managed pool) and have still not received a reply!! Save your money and stay in Newcastle and take a drive to visit the area.

Really disappointed in our stay recently. The photos of the property looked beautiful and we were let down from the beginning. Upon entry to the room we found a cockroach on the ground and the looking around the room we found a massive white tip spider and other spider nests. Curtains and shutters were moldy and unclean. We were offered another room (16) and were swarmed by bugs lingering around outside of room. We chose to keep current room (10) and asked if they could removed spider, which they did. The staff were very nice and understanding. After settling in we started to notice more things that were very unclean but our biggest complaint was the carpet, I think it is 2 years past due for a deep clean. We went out to dinner at the restaurant onsite. Beef Nachos were amazing Tacos were small and disappointing Scotch fillet steak medium rare was chewy and difficult to cut. Applied pie dessert was tasty. Walking back to the room proved very difficult with no actual lights lighting up. We had to resort to our phone lights trying not to trip. Overall very disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room. Especially being this is a 4 star hotel and costs over $350 a night.

Absolutely awful experience, overpriced room! I first checked in there was a red stain on the bedsheet. Tap water from bathroom was unclear and cloudy. A huge spider was found in the corner of shower room. There is no landline and almost zero reception of the internet. The kettle was at faulty which caused the electrical issues, we had to walk to reception several times at late night to resolve the issue. But the staff could not offer anything just asked if we really need to use kettle or not. The faulty kettle is really dangerous and I could call for help as there is no phone and mobile only had SOS signal from the room. I have asked Booking. Com to contact the hotel several times to compensate this unpleasant stay, the hotel didn’t mention anything and was not addressing all the issues I have mentioned. If you want to pay $400 dollars per night for a poor service room like this, I strongly recommend you have a second thought. By the way the bungalows has some water features until 6pm everyday, it is VERY loud, with all windows closed you can still hear the noise. If you can’t bear noise very well, don’t try! The hotel’s reply was not responsible!

This is a 5 star view, and that's about it. Went there Sunday for lunch. The manager was the most inhospitable , unfriendly person I've come across in hospitality. If you're in hospitality you need a personality! If you hate your job.. leave, but if you're setting the standard for your team you are failing. On the flip side we had the most lovely experience with the floor staff. Particularly a guy called Ricky. Now that guy has what it takes to be in the hospitality industry. Such a shame because it really is the most incredible location. So much potential wasted.

We went there for lunch. It was really busy so we were thinking the meals must be good. Unfortunately, it wasn't. We ordered chicken schnitzel, salad, and chips, which arrived a minute or two after we ordered it. The schnitzel was on the cool side of warm, and it was tough. The chips were cold, and the salad was soggy. We left most of our meal on the plates. It had to have been sitting for a while to be served so quickly. Would not go back back again for the food. The view is lovely and the inside of the hotel is really lovely.
