Phenomenal location for a company off-site. Beach was nice, food was great. Rooms are a little dated and need some renovations but overall it was spectacular. View is also stunning from all rooms. Will be back with the family.
Nothing really to fault except the check out. The property presents well despite its age. The restaurant is magnificent as is the bar. The downstairs pool house is great for relaxing and the location is perfect. The check is was great. Lisa is amazing, she arranged bookings and confirmed the request for 2pm late check out. On checkout day we had to ask how the request was going on the way to breakfast and the chap was difficult to understand and said yes it’s approved for 12pm. This didn’t make sense. We knew the room was still available online. When we went to checkout we basically learned that it’s all discretionary and he could have extended it (which he offered to 12:30pm as we are already packed and leaving) then confirmed that “it just makes it hard operationally”… then why offer it? Seems like it was never an option. We were keen to have a swim, drink and lunch on the property. We spent a fair bit there and we don’t regret it. The staff are fantastic just not this chap. He offered a copy of the bill which I was keen to see before we paid and all we got was the one line total transaction. I hope next time to not encounter him. Lisa is the standard they should all meet, this chap… terrible. Other than that, we will be back. This was a great surprise and so close. Great experience.
Staff didn't attend to clean our room at 12pm although had cleaned every other room telling us "your room isn't on your list" the next day we went out hoping to at least have the room clean by 3pm- no cleaning or even changing of the beds just had someone arrive offering fresh towels. We paid around $600 a night and not once was the room cleaned. I emailed the manager and they said we "declined" the cleaning- perhaps that's because by 4pm in the afternoon after being out all day we were hoping to come back to a clean hotel to relax in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Not to mention how disgusting the pizza and room service food was
Love this hotel to stay for a quick getaway. The location, the pool & spa brilliant! Having a bar at the pool is fantastic if you like to have a cocktail whilst relaxing. Beach is directly opposite & lovely. A lot of cafes & food options. The customer service is fantastic! Only negative is the standard king size ocean rooms are tiny.
