We loved the hotel, the room was very very comfortable with a great separate sitting area and very good bedding. Beautiful bathroom with nice amenities. The view of the bridge and Opera House was stunning and we loved to watch the cruise ships arrive and depart from the quays. Breakfast at the club level was outstanding with great service, shout out to the staff! Our only disappointment was the restaurant on the ground level .. we went once and did not return, service was extremely slow and the food not that great. Being such a luxury hotel with only that option available was a major set back in an otherwise great stay.
Stayed only one night after leaving our cruise ship. They treated us like we were regular customers...just top notch. Our room had a great view of the Sydney Harbor Bridge and of the Royal Botanical Gardens. Great location. We were just a couple of blocks from the RBG and the harbor, less than 10 minutes to The Rocks. Breakfast buffet was magnificent. We had drinks and snacks at the rooftop bar, also quite good.
Highly recommend staying at the Intercontinental Sydney. Perfect sightseeing location, close to Circular Quay, the Opera House and the Botanic Gardens. Great views, particularly from the higher floors. We had an east facing Harbour view where you could see right out to the Heads. Wonderful service. Particularly recommend staying in a Club Intercontinental room with access to the Club Lounge with its panoramic views and attentive staff.
We had an amazing time!! We had booked a club level room and was surprised and delighted to find we had been upgraded to an opera view room, for which we can’t thank them enough. The staff were very friendly and courteous, everyone we interacted with were extremely helpful. Special note to the team at breakfast for club guests who were fabulous. We will be back again for sure
I recently had breakfast at the InterContinental Sydney, and it was fantastic! The food diversity was incredible, offering a wide range of options to suit every taste, from fresh pastries to hearty hot dishes. The price was very reasonable for the quality and variety offered. The service was top-notch—attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. Plus, the location is perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to the city's main attractions. Highly recommend!
