We had a wonderful stay at the Q Station. Everything went smoothly for us, we decided to travel by public transport, which was so easy from Wollongong. A train ride, the ferry and a short bus trip. Our accommodation was very nice and clean, it was great to have an umbrella available as well because of the rain. The shuttle bus was great to get around, just had to call reception and it was there in a couple of minutes. We would highly recommend the experience of visiting here. We will definitely be back. Our guide, Emily, on the Wander Tour was fantastic, she really new the history and shared her knowledge.

We booked into the Heritage Suites for 2 nights, however found that they were a little smaller than expected. Called to reception to ask for an upgrade to a cottage, no problem. The cottage was clean and the rooms comfortable. Because it was my birthday, reception also gave us two vouchers for two free coffees/wines. The staff are fantastic and the location is one of the best we've stayed at. Will definitely be back!

First time stay. The staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Very handy having shuttles running 24/7 on call. The grounds are well kept and the buildings have maintained their authenticity even with updating facilities. The room was simple with excellent bed and pillows, private ensuite, tv and tea and coffee making facilities. Plenty to see and would make a great group family or friends getaway. The dining facilities were pleasant but was disappointed that cash was not accepted, especially given that credit card charges were automatically applied. Views were amazing.

Fabulous location with lots to do. Lots of walks you can do and Manly is only a 25 minute walk away or take the Q Station shuttel bus. Dinner in the restaurant (The Boiler Room) is a must really nice food and service. . Breakfast was great with lots of choices. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Cottages were modern and clean, however if staying in the winter months the cottages are very cold. No central heating just a heater in the lounge room.

Unique historical setting with its own private beach and cafe. The shuttle bus service within the site was very prompt and flexible.... and the complimentary shuttle bus to and from Manly city centre/ wharf 8.20am- 8.30pm) was so convenient and saved us a fortune on parking fees. Room was smaller than it appeared online but the verandahs and views were as advertised. Lastly, all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience and would stay there again.
