We experienced the Romance package, which included overnight accommodation in a very spacious and clean room, a bottle of wine, a three course meal paired with wine and breakfast the following morning. Check in was very easy and all amenities were explained, included the shuttle bus routine. The meal was outstanding, at the Boiler house, which is a quaint and cosy restaurant with amazing views. Breakfast was a, plentiful, hot buffet including cereals, pastries, tea/coffee and juice. The area around the Q Station is walkable, but hilly. Highly recommend a stay over or just a visit.
The Settlers Cottage was perfect for our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The location was fabulous - 5 min drive to Manly and outstanding views of the harbour from our windows. The cottage was well furnished, heating in each room kept us warm in winter and the kitchen had a dishwasher and ample cooking equipment so we could make some meals ourselves. Couches and beds were also really comfortable.
Our stay at Q Station Manly was wonderful. It was a 50th birthday stay for a beautiful friend so we wanted to choose a special place with glorious views and we were blessed by the remarkable weather too. The accommodation was very comfortable and the Boiler House was fantastic for our dinner. Service was excellent and the food delicious. Breakfast at the Views Restaurant was a wonderful way to start the morning. The shuttle service was also good but we would have preferred to have our car nearby for easier transport than having to wait for shuttle. In saying that it was very prompt! My only critique would be if gusts could choose the time for their dinner and breakfast whereas in our case it was just provided to us.
Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed a relaxed weekend in a beautiful location. Lots of history, a beautiful beach for a swim and great views. You do need to be very mobile to get around the site, it isn't at all accessible although there is a shuttle bus. Rooms are very comfy but note no air conditioning for the summer.
We stayed to celebrate a birthday. Having stayed several years ago we thought it a good idea to stay again as it was a very pleasant experience. The accommodation is good but basic as the building are historic and they can only do so much with them. The buffet breakfast is as you would expect from a 4star property i.e. good quality but not great.
