•"Venue Lock-out" at The Argyle means exclusive use of the entire venue, aimed at providing you with one of the most opulent and memorable functions you have ever imagined. The venue is a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces fitting up...
The Argyle's Gin Sling Lounge has something of a tropical vibe to its goings-on, with flowered patterned seats, greenery scattered throughout, and wicker chairs. It's hardly gaudy though - this space is as stylish as they come. With room ...
The Belvedere Bar is a semi-exclusive space within The Argyle's upstairs area. The room is best suited to smaller functions for up to 60 guests- quite different to the sprawling 300-person function space of the Reibey or Gallery areas. Rus...
The Argyle's Gallery Bar is incredible large, open and packed with modern sophistication. Rustic wooden beams lie overhead the 300 guest space, complete with lounges, spots to perch and definitely room for a bit of a boogie. The Gallery,...
The Argyle's Reibey Room is a moody, alluring, flatteringly lit den of a space. Wooden floors, red lighting, sumptuous lounges, mirrored surfaces; this one is a stylish and urbane space for events of a similar character. As the only priva...
The Argyle's "Level 1" space is pretty much what you'd imagine it to be: Level 1 used in its entirety, comprising of the Reibey Room, the Gallery Bar, and the Belvedere Bar. That's plenty of space across the large number of rooms - each e...
A group of four of us went on a Tuesday night. The ambiance was great with color and space. They had couch seating and high tables and some great spots to take pictures. They had a special going for the fishbowl’s so we ordered the Long Island Iced Tea for the group. It was just ok, not sure if it even had booze in it. Was more of just a sugar drink. We got lucky because we were able to play trivia. For being from another country I think we did pretty well for the questions they asked. We won a few drink vouchers but ended up getting second in the end. Was fun though. We didn’t eat there but I will say the food coming out looked pretty tasty. A little pricey but I’m sure it’s worth it. I would recommend trying “the Argyle” out at least once on your visit to Sydney.
I’ve been a regular visitor to this nightclub, coming here every week for the past six weeks. However, my experience tonight was shocking and frustrating. I was denied entry by the security staff, who claimed that my shoes were too casual. What’s baffling is that I’ve worn the same shoes on all my previous visits without any issues. To make matters worse, there was no change in the rules or dress code, and I saw several other people inside wearing similar casual shoes. Let’s be honest, no one is showing up in formal shoes to this place these days.I also visited two other well-known nightclubs in Sydney on the same day, wearing the exact same outfit, and had no issues at either venue. This selective enforcement felt arbitrary and unfair, and I couldn’t help but feel that my treatment was influenced by my ethnicity, which is extremely upsetting. As a loyal customer who enjoyed this place for weeks, I expected better. Inconsistent and possibly discriminatory behavior from the staff is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures a more professional, consistent, and fair approach moving forward. I won’t be returning.
Went for the food and was not disappointed. For a reasonable price, you get a large portion of food and excellent table service. Loved the waffles and shepherds pie. Was also surprised (ironically) to get popcorn with the popcorn chicken. The bar does get crowded sometimes at around 7 and it may be difficult to get a table. But it's a nice place to catch up with friends and have some cheap drinks during happy hour every day
I organized a party for my company at Argyle on Thursday (07/11/24), and I’d like to compliment and thank the manager Mauricio for all the support he gave us! He was amazing, and everyone was really happy and had a great time! Plus, the third DJ who played absolutely killed it! Hahaha
Called in to celebrate St Patrick's day festivities whilst in Sydney. The place was buzzing. Full of folks partying and having fun. We ate also, the pizzas were delicious! Great pint of Guinness, as it was flowing! The queues for the bar were ridiculous! Deffo needed more staff serving. The average wait was 15-20 minutes! Crazy!
