Bangarra is located on Gadigal Country, in the heart of the beautiful Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, on the edge of Sydney Harbour. The dynamic views from the Bangarra Function Space encompass Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and North Sydney, and capture the life of the Harbour. The heritage-listed wharves are home to Sydney’s top arts companies, and Bangarra holds a prime position at the harbour end of Wharf 4/5. The Wharf’s original features date back to the early 1900’s, showcasing both the solid workmanship and the architectural style of that era. Bangarra is Australia’s premiere Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts company, and the creative hub for some of Australia’s most celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and performers. One of the premier dance companies in Australia. If you are looking for a unique, mesmerising dance experience with incredibly talented choreography, dancers and music, it’s right here. I have been attending every Bangarra Dance production for the past few years and each one has been incredible. They are quietly representing the the First Nations people through dance. Their most recent production, Ilume is amazing✨👍🏻💯Highly recommended. Australia may not have all voted Yes in the referendum but what they really mean is Always. Australia has Always belonged to the traditional owners of the land, the First Nations people. Always has, Always is and Always will be. All Australians can learn a lot from their wisdom.

If you have not see the new piece you have really missed out. Spectacular, lyrical storytelling with the pulse of beautifully crafted music underscoring the poetry song and dance. Be work to date. The set, costumes and skill in presenting this piece in a theatre the size of Ros Packer breathtaking. Bravo.
