Excellent lunch specials, we had the spaghetti bolognaise and schnitzel burger, very good value, also the upper level dining area with the bar was something was quite unique and private, would recommend.
5 stars all the way... You come with your mates after hours or you come during daytime with your family... Hayden or Aiden (I hope I have the spelling right) will look after you. Third time at this venue on week ends and he was extending amazing hospitality. We will be back for a 4th time! 🤪
The food at The Cauliflower Hotel in Waterloo is an absolute delight! I tried a variety of dishes, and every bite was fantastic. The roast chicken with broccolini and potatoes was cooked to perfection, with the chicken tender and juicy, and the vegetables adding a fresh, vibrant touch. The nachos were a standout – loaded with toppings like guacamole, sour cream, and jalapeños, every bite was bursting with flavour. The crispy battered fish and tacos were also hits, with each dish delivering on taste and presentation. The portion sizes were generous, and the balance of textures and flavours made for an enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're after pub classics or something with a bit of flair, The Cauliflower Hotel has it covered. Highly recommended!
Bar staff and service 10/10 . What this place lacks is the understanding of treating staff with basic human decency after witnessing who I can only assume is the owner (female, brunette, boisterous and arrogant) speaking to staff in such a manner early last week. Absolutely disgusting and I can see why people don’t want to stay in the dying industry. Tyrants such as these shouldn’t be allowed to own businesses that rely on people. Shame on you - DO BETTER!
What an interesting hybrid pub with its name and ground floor like an unassuming sports bar yet its upstairs having a "Pirates of the Caribbean" ambience. The Forgotten Cask is undisputably the area to visit for a chill weekend sesh - Hayden, Luke and the team kindly booked us the entire space and happily rearranged furniture. Cheap monthly drink specials and Chef's dishes of the week worth having a look.
