We stayed one night at Rydges Gold Coast Airport in the Coastal Deluxe room. While the room was a bit smaller than expected and the view was of the car park, the overall experience was great. The service at the desk was exceptional — check-in and check-out were both fast and incredibly friendly. We were able to check in 15 minutes early without any hassle, and we appreciated being allowed to leave our hire car out front for collection without needing to go down to the paid parking. The hotel itself is beautiful, especially the foyer, which is quite spectacular. Breakfast and WiFi were included, though we had to check out early before breakfast started at 6 AM. Overall, a lovely experience, just shy of 5 stars due to the room size and view, but everything else was top-notch.

Great location if you need to stay close to the airport. Staff were very friendly. Hotel and rooms were nice and clean. Only thing that could have made it a better stay would be to make the beds properly, and have a proper duvet instead of a blanket in sheets. The bed just felt like sheets on sheets on sheets and wasn’t comfortable to sleep in. Overall a nice stay though.

Arrived early, 8am for a course conducted in hotel, greeted by Manager, Max who surprised us by saying room was ready and we could use straight away. We were delighted as daughter went to course and me straight to the room. The room was basic but lovely, new, bright and clean. There was absolutely NO noise from the airport in our room, overlooking the car hire park, was lots to watch but no noise. I interacted with the cleaning staff who were also happy to go out of their way to help. Shower was large and hot with fluffy towels, beds were very comfortable. We went to the rooftop bar for a drink and some bar food, watched the sunset over the ocean and planes taking off. Food and service was impeccable, we really enjoyed our evening. Breakfast downstairs was also delicious, eggs cooked as I liked with lots of accompaniments and again lovely staff. The airport is right there on Rydges doorstep to walk easily across to. Great Hotel, great staff making our stay truly enjoyable

This hotel is in a very convenient location. We couldn’t hear any planes take off or land so they’ve done a great job with sound proofing. Rooms are clean and spacious. They are however missing a few essentials: tissues, shower caps, appropriate water pressure from shower/tap (mainly an issue when trying to wash sand off), plates to accompany tea cups. They also use triple sheeting bedding method. This is very frustrating to sleep in as the sheets rarely stay in place and you spend a lot of the night readjusting the bedding. We stayed in September and the pool is still very cold. The staff were somewhat abrupt and although helpful they didn’t make us feel very welcome. All in all for the amount of time you spend at a hotel we had a good stay.

Love the beds at Rydges, so comfy. Was wonderful to walk off the plane cross the road and your in the hotel. Breakfast spread was great, loved the honeycomb dripping. No spa.
