I really enjoyed my stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport. I’m a local and have stayed here several times. Level 6 is perfect if you love planes — room 626 is larger with great runway and ocean views. Rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, great showers and TVs. Staff are always friendly at check-in, check-out and in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is fresh, well priced and always well stocked. I had room service and the fish and chips were delicious. Thanks to the young man who delivered it (Alan) — very friendly and helpful. Facilities are excellent — great swimming pool, gym, conference rooms and a beautiful rooftop bar with awesome food and views. Parking is also excellent. Overall this hotel is excellent. Highly recommended.

Amazing communication before and during our stay. It was so nice to have staff at the front desk 24/7 to answer any questions and assist. All staff were very friendly and easy to speak with. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay. Our room was ready early also so we could get to a wedding in NSW so muchly appreciated! Will recommend to friends and family needing to stay in this location 😊

Rydges is situated in an excellent location to the Coolangatta/ Gold Coast airport. In saying that you would not believe that you are staying so close to it, as you cannot really hear any air traffic, either landing or taking off.. The staff are really friendly and courteous. The room was really clean & tidy.. We will definitely be a repeat customer when staying on the Gold Coast.. I would highly recommend Rydges Motel for a very enjoyable stay. Tony and Louise

Such a great hotel! The loveliest staff in all departments. Everyone was so smiley and friendly, the best team I have seen in a long time. Amber the reservations manager was incredible! She was so beautifully presented with the most sincere smile that made us feel so welcome. She really made our stay and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. Food and drinks downstairs were also fantastic! Highly recommend checking in the night before you fly and start your vacation early. Thank you to all the beautiful team at Rydges Gold Coast.

Nice enough hotel. It is very clean, however some of the things that kept us coming back to the Rydges GC Airport were the Top floor restaurant Foxy’s. Foxy’s was one of the best restaurants on the Gold Coast. It was a 5 star experience and food was always perfect. But on our return this in Nov 2025 we were told since new owners, Foxy’s is no more and that the top restaurant area is only for corporate or private functions. Also since new management, parking now is a$25 expense. Why, especially when you are paying Aud$300 per night? This means for us at least, this will be our last time visiting the Rydges GC. Even Q1 at Surfers Paradise don’t charge for parking. So sad, another once great establishment has fallen, and it was so freakin great…once!
