Hibiscus Room is a stunning poolside restaurant and bar at Hyatt Regency Hotel, taking inspiration from the iconic restaurant of the same name that graced the top floors of Lennon's Hotel in the 1970's and 80's. First established in 1884, Lennons Hotel opened at the current Hyatt Regency Brisbane site on Queen Street in 1972, hosting world-renowned guests including Alexander Graham Bell, Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith, Dame Nellie Melba, President Lyndon B. Johnson and The Beatles. Located originally on levels 25-26, Hibiscus Room was the city's leading bar, dining, and musical venue. Throughout the 70’s and 80’s other venues could only be second best to the celebration and finesse of Hibiscus Room.

I was in Brisbane for a holiday. First, I booked a hotel in South Bank, but then I moved to this one. Now, I wish I had stayed at this hotel from the day I arrived in Brisbane. What a wonderful staff so friendly and polite! I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they kindly let me go to my room right away. The location is perfect, the breakfast is great, and the place is spotless. I truly wish the best for all the staff, the manager, and the owner. I was extremely satisfied with my stay

Such warm and friendly service with a smile everywhere we went in the hotel! We’ve stayed here a couple of times and always really enjoy it. The pool area is excellent! Love the food and drinks! Such a chill but fun vibe. Also very family friendly… little packs for our toddler and lots of extra little treats and attention! Perfect location right on the mall. A special mention to Chloe who was so professional and friendly and always made us feel so welcome! Such a wonderful stay. Thank you! Highly recommend!

The staff are so friendly here We booked the most affordable room, but it's still perfect spacious and well appointed. They even provided thoughtful extras like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bathroom slippers. I absolutely love this hotel it's so clean and pleasant

The staff here are truly fabulous, so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The beds are super comfy and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. The location is excellent too, it's everything you want in a CBD hotel. Highly recommended

If you have written a bad review for this venue, you're too self involved to appreciate what a gem this place is. Can not fault this accommodation. The staff, every single one of them, was wonderful. They clearly enjoy what they do. Immaculately clean. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Room size and layout is perfect. Quiet. Seamless check in and out. We won't be staying anywhere else in Brisbane city. Simply perfect.
