The place was beautiful. When we arrived it was quiet busy, we were greeted by a worker I think it was Mark such a calm, kind and helpful team member going above and beyond our expectations and greeted us with exceptional service and a beautiful smile, an absolute asset to the company! Absolutely made our stay a memorable one. Will definitely return if near the area. Place was clean had everything we needed and was beautiful and quiet. Thank you for having us! ❤️
We stopped for 2 nights and stay at Oaks Gladstone for a family road trip. The studio rooms are spacious ,nice and clean. Receptionist Joanna is professional and lovely . It is easy to go to the coffee club for breakfast from level 2. We enjoy our stay here , will stay here again if we visit Gladstone next time. :)
The rooms all vary. Last time I stayed I had a coffee pod machine as well as a kettle & coffee/tea, but this time only 2 sachets of coffee & 5 Sugars. HUH‽¿‽¿? The rooms are clean, well prepared & perfect for a business trip, but no warning, but if you need to access WI-FI, you need to use Internet Explorer & not Firefox/Chrome.....but no one tells you that. This time service via reception was exceptional, but the previous time, just abysmal!!
Oaks Grand continues to be my preferred hotel choice in Gladstone. I travel here on average twice a year for work and always seek to stay here before anywhere else. The hotel is always neat and presents beautifully. The rooms have always been clean and tidy, and well maintained. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and it really pleases me that I don’t ever see any hint of things like mould in bathroom tile grout, or suitcase height damage to walls that has been “good enough” repaired. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist. There’s direct undercover access to a pub and two restaurants from level 2, and free secure undercover parking included with the room booking. Complimentary wifi is more than fine for general tasks and even streaming 1080p video. I think my only gripe would be that I would really appreciate a couple of complimentary 600ml bottles of water in the room. It’s such a small gesture and considering the cost of 24 packs of bottled water at the supermarket I’m sure the cost involved in this could be easily absorbed on a larger bulk purchase scale.
Room 805 bathroom needs attention. Took a little bit of time checking in. A little welcome platter would have been nice considering the cost of the room. Location was good in that you could walk down a halfway and be at the coffee club and the restaurant.
