We really enjoyed our stay at Peppers. Our room was clean, well appointed and spacious with a nice balcony. The breakfast was great and fresh with everything you would need (hot options, a fruit and muesli bar, baked goods, cereal etc). The location was also fantastic - it is just up the hill from Hastings Street - a decent 10 minute walk if you are physically able, though they have a regular buggy service if you are not. Two pools also - a family friendly one and a quieter lap pool for adults. I can see the reviews are quite varied on this resort - I think the state of the rooms really differs as they are individually owned. I will also say that it would have been helpful to have had more information provided to us on checking in - all we got told was where the pool was but had no idea re breakfast times etc.
Our stay in Peppers Noosa was very relaxing. Just what we were looking on this trip after a year long hectic schedule. The staff are courteous and friendly. But, they do need some improvements on the following : 1. Would be good to have full size fridge. 2. There should be dining table inside each room. 3. More lights on the balcony. 4. Daily room houesekeeping should include vacuuming of carpets and floors. 5. Provide a decent size bath towels. 6. More lighting in the room. 7. Decent size frying pan. 8. The fabric sofa needs a good steaming to remove the bad smell. It seems other rooms look nicer. And since we are looking at a relaxing holiday, we are quite particular with the the cleanliness of the room. Overall the stay was good. Would be back again and hopefully we get a nicer room.
Room wasn’t ready at our check in times. There were no pool towels available, which for a resort is very odd. We had to wait 2 days for towels to use at the pool and we were not the only ones, and the resort was definitely not at capacity, bizarre! Pool bar wasn’t open often in the hours it was advertised to be open. Young staff running the buggy service were all fantastic and made the vibe of the resort, they were all only too happy to help and very personable.
The rooms definitely need a refresh, especially at the premium rate you are paying. The amenities at the pool (change rooms etc) aren’t maintained. The gym equipment is rusty and wouldn’t pass hygiene standards. The service is amazing and the surrounds (the rain forest) is stunning to be surrounded by.
It was a very disappointing experience. The rooms were outdated and unclean, with dust accumulating everywhere. There was not even a bathroom door.. so enjoy that. The bedroom TV was barely larger than an iPad. The staff showed little interest in addressing concerns and lacked friendliness, making the stay even more frustrating. There is a buggy service from the hotel down to the main shopping street which was great. But you need to phone a number to be collected, and I’d say 3 times out of 10 they actually answer. So you may be waiting a while.
