About the venue
We cater to any size corporate function, comfortably seating up to 100 delegates in the Blue Room, an additional 200 in the River Room and a further 400 in the Grand Ballroom. Naturally you can combine all our rooms, and even breakout into the most stunning space imaginable – the lush green ribbon of lawn that runs beside the picturesque Brisbane River. Amazing place for a wedding on the water with scenic views and a nice enclosed area for food and drink. The negative was that the toilets were not clean at all from the beginning of the wedding and they had a costume party on the same day where people were getting trashed in the room to the opposite side of the wedding. With a bit better planning my review would of been 5 stars. This is a wedding not a review of a quick bite to eat so sub-par bathroom cleanliness and rowdy guests nearby is unacceptable.

Events on Oxlade is a premium Venue in the Heart of Newfarm. Run by Declan and his team, the venue caters for all manner of Events. We had our wedding there recently and Declan's team looked after us well into the evening with amazing food, bar service and hospitality. The ballroom is large with ample room for 100+ during Covid times. We also utilised the outdoor lawns for our ceremony and evening time, with photography and catering onsite. I don't hesitate offering this venue to anyone looking for the perfect location for a wedding or special event. Call Declan, he looked after us very well. I highly recommend.

Thank you to Declan and all the team at Events on Oxlade for helping us put on an amazing night for our wedding. The ceremony lawn is stunning and inside reception area is perfect for any weather. The staff were polite and helpful, and Declan was always very responsive, gave us honest feedback and practical solutions to all our questions, professional and down to earth. The menu and food was amazing too!!

Stunning venue with clean and ample facilities. Catering was tasty and very good quality - I was very surprised how good the food was. The beef brisket was a particular favourite.

Events on Oxlade are doing morning coffee and takeaway breakfasts. Takeaway located just off the Merthyr shared pathway at Oxlade Drive. Good coffee and plenty of takeaway snacks. The best part is the Merthyr Park outdoor seating beside the Brisbane River. Great place to enjoy a morning coffee.
