This is it everybody. The best pub in Melbourne. God I love the Birmy it’s basically me and my mate’s weekly ritual to come here. Food is always great, beers are cheap and plentiful, the place has like 5 different seating zones. Staff are friendly also. Literally can’t think of a bad thing to say about this pub, I love it.

Been meaning to go here for years having past it on PT daily for years. What a regret to have not gone sooner. Awesome high standard for good in a super warm cosy pub. Great happy hour and food offerings. We came for the steak/parma night. Steak was delicious. Salad was well dressed. Staff were awesome! A really great experience. Can't believe it took me so long!

Chicken Cesar was huge and tasty but a bit too salty. Barra with mash and slaw was also good.

Zach the security guard. Incredible mannerisms and way he has portrayed himself and the laws he follows refused service to provide soft drink... That's not alcohol

I was at the Birmingham hotel after reading an article in the Good Food guide that it has one of the best parmigianas in Melbourne. I went on Tuesday when there was a special. The parmigiana costs $18. It tasted pretty average. It wasn't crispy at all. The cheese is quite bland but has the soft texture. The chicken was thick, which is a redeeming feature. The fries were mostly crispy, and the salad dressing was good. Overall, it's average and wouldn't travel from far to dine at this venue.
