Caz Reitops is nestled behind an unassuming shop front that occasionally makes it easy for the uninitiated to walk past. Thankfully, the small cocktail bar through the door makes a definite impression once you’ve entered. Styled in the fashion of a Prohibition-era speakeasy, Dirty Secrets spins jazz and blues while serving up an impressive selection of cocktails. To the relief of all involved no doubt, they all taste a great deal better than the kind of bathtub-swilled moonshine that one would expect from actual transportation back to the 1920s. The bar is cozy, dimly lit, and has the type of charisma that seems conducive to either rollicking good times, or to Nick Cave suddenly appearing out of nowhere. It’s low-key without being subdued, and stylish without being pretentious. Downstairs is The Vault, which acts as a sometimes dance floor, as well as a private function space. The bluestone basement also hosts comedy on Wednesdays and Thursdays and is available for private functions and DJ sets on the weekends. Function level is free to hire, promotional minimum spend of only $500 for Fridays and $750 for Saturdays, Exclusive and private with a 3 am close!

This is one my all time favourite bars, has a classy kind of speakeasy vibe, & the drinks are always phenomenal. The bartenders are super friendly, & even during times when it's super busy I've never had to wait long for a drink. They have a great venue space downstairs for private events, and the staff are always attentive. I recommend this bar to everyone I know, I absolutely love it here! Also highly recommend the Mr. Bo cocktail ✨️

Held a private function here in the Basement/Vault. It was perfect! We were able to organise DJ decks and had an absolute blast in an awesome environment. The process was seamless and staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend for functions.

Good drinks. We both liked our drinks. There is a tiny tiny venue downstairs that does shows. We didn’t go. And they have little booths for privacy. It’s a bit overpriced. Rustic is a good word to describe this place. Oh and a bit of a complaint. The bartender wasn’t so informative or willing to try something different. But the drinks were fresh. I’d recommend coming here.
