A name beginning with “eLounge” might conjure mental images of an internet cafe or a LAN party, but that couldn’t be further from the truth in the case of Abbotsford’s eLounge Pizzeria. Not a single internet booth in sight, eLounge is instead filled with the smells of pizzas cooking in the wood fire oven. Much better. eLounge Pizzeria takes an approach to simple Italian cuisine that’s equal parts thoughtful and passionate. Determined to do it right, the pizzas on offer here keep things simple, with a “less is more” philosophy. As a result, the combinations found on the menu are well-considered, balanced affairs. They’re immensely popular too, and not just with Abbotsford and Richmond locals. As a space, eLounge Pizzeria is inviting and easy on the eye, in its own easy-going, unpretentious way. Which of course, is well-suited to its Abbotsford address. eLounge Pizzeria is found on Victoria Street in Abbotsford, a short walk from North Richmond train station. More conveniently though, it’s just near the corner of Church Street - where you’ll find the 24, 42, 78, 79 and 109 tram lines.
