I absolutely adored my time roaming the royal botanical gardens. It was a magical experience. Every spot within the garden was beautiful, i loved the pond, the green house, the mini dessert succulent garden. There was so much life in the pond, i could see turtles and swans. it was so lovely! Truly like walking into a monet painting. The only thing i didn't like was how hard it was to get around but you get used to it eventually! Such a gorgeous and beautiful place and it was free! I went with all my girl friends, and we had the time of our life, and took so many pictures. Everything was lush and gorgeous and well-kept. The atmosphere was unbeatable. The gift store was a bit expensive, but they housed a plethora of beautiful things, from plates and gardening items and adorable trinkets. It was a fun and great time!
Unbelievably beautiful and almost fairytale like garden. It's a great place to get away from the busy city life. There are also many beautiful birds and interesting plants to look at. No tickets are needed for this place and it is free to enter. So if you are travelling Melbourne on a budget you should definitely consider this!👍
This garden is fantastic! It has a beautiful lake and a cozy café. You can have a picnic and take a relaxing walk. The scenery is amazing, and it's very peaceful. Great place to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty. Also memorial is just next to garden can also visit later part
Fall is perhaps not the prettiest time of the year in terms of floral scenes but at such a carefully manicured botanical garden there is something to offer at any time of the year. I took a morning walk in the pleasant pathways there, and took some special time in its Gardens House and Observatory, both of which are heritage sites. The scenery was very pleasant in the crisp autumn air of Melbourne. I do highly recommend the Royal Botanic Gardens to be a nice detour from the usual city activities. The War Shrine is also nearby.
The garden is amazing. Many smaller thematic gardens with well maintain paths. There are plenty of benches to rest, you can also take a boat and have a nice ride along the lake. Definitely recommend!
