Offering a vision of what the journey into the afterlife might involve (if it began in a neon-lit saloon), House of Maximón features late-night dancing, lowbrow ‘makeshift’ cocktails, cold cured meats, pinxtos and spiced popcorn, all delivered to a debaucherous crowd under the watchful eye of infamous Central American deity San Simon (an icon otherwise known as Maximón). The Mexican 'Day of the Dead'-esque, neon venue is a great pick for after work drinks, and for weekend party times.
