The Imperial Hotel in Melbourne is a charming establishment steeped in history, offering a unique blend of tradition and modern amenities. The fresh food is a standout feature, with a menu that highlights quality ingredients and delicious flavors. Their ordering system is efficient, making the dining experience seamless, and I was impressed by how quickly the food arrived at our table. The ambiance is homely, creating a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. Additionally, the pricing is well within reason, providing great value for the quality of food and service offered. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The staff could benefit from being more friendly and engaging, as their demeanor felt a bit distant during my visit. Additionally, the men’s toilets left something to be desired, with a noticeable odor that could be detected from the hallways. Overall, the Imperial Hotel is a solid choice for a meal steeped in history and good food, though a little attention to staff friendliness and restroom cleanliness would enhance the experience even further.

This was a very enjoyable place, food came out quickly and staff were personable. There is a great vibe and a nice place to come for a city lunch with colleagues. I had the beans and chicken nachos. The chicken comes in a nice form. There was a bit group of us. We also had half and full chicken Palma. Burgers looked amazing too. Chips were lime and pepper. The sauce was tangy which made it. Had had a report the toilets are very clean which is a good result.
Nice place for after work food and drink. Multiple screens to enjoy your fav sport. We ordered 1. pizzas (margarita, capriciosa, prosciutto and sausage) they were all very good and good portion size 2. Nachos - 5/5 3. Chips with aioli very flavourful kept us busy while the rest of the food came 4. Calamari - 4/5 less portion 5. Chicken ribs - more like wings Drinks: Beers were good but overpriced compared to other places but the ambiance covers for that Cocktails- espresso martini - 3/5 Elderflower 4/5
Pricing is reasonable and our meals were enjoyable. We started with the trio of dips and bread to share and then each selected a Parma because that’s generally the most sensible choice in a pub. A wise choice it turned out as the parma was sizeable and utterly delicious. A quick google confirmed it ranked as number three in Victoria something I can certainly attest to. Atmosphere of a Friday night was lively too
