•Hidden behind the green door in the heart of Chapel Street's entertainment precinct lies Katuk. A classic Chapel Street bar that manages to be both comfortable and chic. Katuk offers a range of function spaces, suitable to any group size or budget. The Front Lounge radiates class, and includes a large open fireplace, leather seating, tiered level steps, and even exclusive use of an outdoor smoking balcony. This space is suited for semi private functions and can hold up to 70 people. Katuk also offers the use of the Cubby House and Courtyard, suitable for semi private functions and can hold up to 30 people. A number of canapés options are available for both spaces, including a mix of cold and hot canapé platters. A large selection of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails are also available with the option of either a fully customisable bar tab or drinks package. The Chapel Street location makes the venue accessible to all. Katuk can also cater to more casual groups and offer a reserved area free of charge. Perfect for a casual night out especially on Wednesdays when we have Half Price Classic Cocktails and $5 Basic Spirits all night long, every other day we have a Happy Hour 5pm - 7pm which includes 1/2 price Tap Beer, 1/2 price Basic Spirits and $12 House Cocktails.

Lovely bar hidden away in Chapel street. The cocktails are great and there’s lots of space to chill out and sit down/talk. There’s books, board games, some chill background music. There’s usually lots of couples so it’s good for dates, quite intimate with all the couches and seating spaces. Thank you for the experience!

We did the 2 hour Cocktail MasterClass which was surprisingly informative and a whole lot of fun. We got to jump behind the bar and make a couple of cocktails each and were also welcomed with a drink upon arrival, some canapes and another cocktail to wash them down with. Can highly recommend!

Great little speak easy (secret bar) on Chapel street. Easy to miss yet cool once you venture through the green door and upstairs. There is virtually no spirit or drink they don’t have and the service is first class. It gets busy on weekends yet all the food bars do. A mixed age group so everyone would feel comfortable. Worth a visit.

We recently had our wedding here. We found the organisation by Simon very easy and straight forward. Simon and the bar staff were exceptional they made us and our guests feel very important and catered to all our need. The bar served an extensive array of cocktails and champagne. The bar snacks were eclectic and very tasty. We had a amazing event and would highly recommend Katuk.
