Absolutely loved our stay here as a family. Francis the concierge was so wonderful and our kids had a fun time engaging with him. He really made our stay lovely. The whole service team was great and the rooms were lovely. Thank you.

Considering this hotel is rated 5 star, it missed the mark for us. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels and this was very disappointing. The rooms are very tired and showing their age. No heating in the room. Only air conditioning, not sure why when Melbourne can get cold. Furniture is outdated which many worn marks and chips in them. The coffee table in our room was quite rickety. Bathroom is showing its age. Scuff marked on walls and doors. Close to theatre end of cbd. Staff were excellent, very attentive and professional. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay again.

While I’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels, this particular one in Melbourne didn’t quite meet my expectations for a 5-star experience. The location is excellent, especially for leisure travelers, though it may not be as convenient for business trips. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom layout could use some improvement—the lack of proper separation made it easy for the floor to get wet. Service was standard and efficient, though nothing particularly memorable stood out. Overall, it’s a decent stay, but not one that leaves a lasting impression.

Amazing service from binup, couldn't have asked for anything else, was just popping in for a coffee in the morning and was impressed by the humour and vibes the staff gave off, we then asked to sit down in the buffet area and even though we where not paying for the buffet, they immediately seated us, we then where given outstanding service all throughout the breakfast. Great staff. (Thanks binup)

Me and my friends came here for breakfast not actually knowing it was a hotel! Anyways service was great and we were seated in the buffet area, the workers were very nice. Especially Binup, who gave us a toastie for free. First time here and I am already thinking of staying here next time.
