•Waterslide Bar is a fusion of old and modern, creating the pleasant impression of being somewhere familiar, yet new. Bringing some sophistication and delicious fun to the south side of the river, The Waterslide bar is for everyone. The Waterslide team, with its many years of experience, has compiled unique beverage lists of the finest Whiskeys, Gins, Vodkas, Rums, Ciders, Cocktails and Craft beers. With the stunning million-dollar views of the Yarra River and of the city skyline, Waterslide is the ideal venue for corporate functions, product launches, birthday parties, anniversaries, EOFY functions and of course Christmas parties. Our spaces offer great flexibility with spaces ideal for groups between 10 and 30, an enclosed and heated balcony for groups of up to 80 and full venue hire of up to 250. Waterslide Bar is a stunning venue overlooking the Yarra River. Our drinks are perfection and our staff are smartly polished with vests, ties and arm garters. Sophistication aside, our fun team are here to create a fun, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Popped in for an impromptu quick bite and a cocktail. Two entries into the venue - one from the twirly staircase off from Southbank which makes it a lovely entrance or the other from SouthGate precinct. The moment you walk in, it is a beautiful and pleasant surprise. Speakeasy vibes and decor with moody blue hues. Really classy looking place on the inside with some nice relaxing swings and tables. Would be perfect to meet a friend, a date night or even if you wanted to have a drink solo. Sat outside with the air misters going which were a nice relief from the heat. Due to a function we didn’t get a great view but it was nice to be outside on their balcony area. The vibe on the balcony is a little different, less classy and more casual - still nice. Cocktails were delicious with our favourite being the Kings Flip which was banana rum and peanut butter whiskey - Superb! And the sour mistress was nice too. You can tell the bartender knows what they’re doing. Food options were more light bites with tapas style Korean Sliders, calamari, baked Brie and a few pizza options. The food was really nice and tasty so even though options were minimal, they did them very well! Only cons: No toilets in the venue (but there are some right next door as part of Southgate precinct) and the cocktails were a tad small in volume for the price. The place was really quiet for a Thursday evening - Perhaps some happy hour cocktail deals would draw in some people to this beautiful venue, noting the tough competition along Southbank. Will definitely be back and will opt to sit inside next time to experience the different vibe!

This place is an absolute must do. The perfect place to come for a cocktail or two anytime. The atmosphere is great, nice and dark and just some of the best music to vibe to. Inside and balcony seating available over looking the Yarra river. The staff are always amazing and the service is second to none. The cocktails are perfect and there are many to choose from. The food they offer is always tasty and fresh.
