Village Cinema located at Mid Valley Shopping Centre. 8 small cinemas. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable venue. Large foyer, modern designed ticket and food counter. Clean and well maintained restrooms. Large free car park
Very well-organized cinema that was very clean and had polite staff. Huge carpark out front and a large foyer. Inside is a games area, ticket and candy bar area as well. Toilets were very clean.
Saw Despicable me 4. The movie seemed much more childish and unrealistic than it used to be, but that'd not Village Cinimars' fault. It's really nice inside. It's got arcade machines (which really are just money traps for kids). Did you know that they can actually set how often it actually plays fair? All other times, it deliberately cheats the game so that the player doesn't win. If they are evil enough, they can even set it so that the player bever wins!! Believe it or not: by law, casino gambling machines have a specific minimum limit of how often the player must win. If the machine doesn't allow the player to win often enough, then the casino is breaking the law. Believe it or not, this does not exist with arcade machines. The owners can set it so that the player never EVER wins, and that is perfectly legal. What makes it worse is that it is targeting children. So yeah, I'm not too impressed that Village Cinimars support those things, let alone have them. But then it is making a huge amount of money (out of rippedboff children), so they probably do it for the money. It has carpet and high-quality video and surround sound. It doesn't let you bring in any food, though (only allows water). Doesn't take Einstein to figure out why they have that rule in place. I can't think of anything else to put here, so I guess this is the end of this review!
Have been here quite a few times both post and pre Covid, has had a more recent update and renovation inside. Very comfortable cinemas with chairs that recline a little bit, no gold class but definitely a worthwhile stop for the rural area.
Worst cinema experience of my life. Staff called me slurs and spat in my popcorn, refused a refund for my friend because they were African American.
