Last time I was here was before Covid under another brand. Thought I give this a try since I worked near by. My Chicken Schnitzel Burger was average although it looks pretty nice in the photo. It lacks a bit of punch. The Fried Calamari was not cooked enough. The Sweet Potato Quinoa Salad was ok. Price and service was ok.
Came for a Sunday lunch, looks appealing from the outside but was almost empty. Person taking our order had zero care, he was one sigh away from an eye roll. Read back our order, sat down. Good came quickly, but coffee was cold and pie was lukewarm, and sides never came. The burgers made fresh were nice, but the cheeseburger was only edible if you have a high tolerance to mustard, otherwise it overpowered it completely. Asked about the sides, they said they’d follow it up, still never came. Eventually we went to cancel it, and it was apparently never ordered? The other two burgers were good, but overall for the zero care service and cold and forgotten food, I’d give it a miss next time.
Great place to unwind and grab a bite to eat and have a coffee. After attending an exhibition at the nearby convention hall, I found Billies whilst having a walk outside on South Wharf. I was able to get a sandwich, pastry and cappuccino whilst served with a smile from the staff at Billies
Along Docklands at 9am there isn't much choice for breakfast and after sitting down, I wished I'd given this place a wider berth. 4 staff and no table service, not much in the way of options for breakfast either, no kids menu, no bacon and eggs, no toast or fruit, just basic toasties or wraps, if I wanted something quick and easy id go to a corner cafe. Ham and Cheese and a coffee almost $22 🤯 yeah I'll know for next time and now you know too so you can try somewhere else
Burger was ABSOLUTELY delicious it was so nice… can’t say the same about the staff. They were rude and were too busy with each other to care about ANY of the customers. They didn’t deliver food to people and customers literally had to go up and take their food themselves which is their job literally. We didn’t get a table number (which is basic service but whatever) went back and asked for one and woman was extremely rude and said over and over that she gave us one but we wouldn’t take it… WHY would we be coming back if we didn’t want it in the first place? Wouldn’t come back here..which is a shame because the food was great. 😞
