Great apartments in a pretty convenient spot. Had a 3 night stay here recently for work and they were very helpful. Had an out of office number as I arrived late they were able to give me the code to the lockbox and get my keys. Pretty happy overall. Very quiet and great food options directly across the road and short walks away.

The room was spacious but the mattress was woeful, we nearly sank through it. The couch was a marginally better option. The shower didn't hold temperature. The TV was tiny and half of the buttons on the remote didn't work. The tea and coffee provisions were very minimal. It was clean, and reception staff were nice but overall this was not good value in our experience.

We've been recommending the Punthill Williamstown apartments to interstate family for many years, but after our recent experience, that ends now. We had two sets of guests stay for my husband’s 50th, and the experience was unacceptable. GUEST 1: Booked online for a parent and two children, only to arrive and find the room only slept two. When he called after-hours customer service, he was told it was his mistake for not requesting a third bed—even though the booking clearly stated it was for one adult and two children (ages 10 and 15). Absolutely mind-blowing! Thankfully, the receptionist apologised the next morning and refunded the first night, but the damage was done—it was a terrible experience for our guests with one of them having to sleep on a sofa without blankets. GUEST 2: Cleaning is supposed to happen every two days, but since they checked in Thursday night, the guest received no service because cleaning doesn’t happen on weekends (why!?). So from Thursday to Monday no service was provided even though guests are charged for it. They also ran out of something as simple as coffee stating they only had enough for new arriving guests. Not sure if there's been a change in management, but this experience was sub-standard and I won’t be recommending Punthill to family and friends anymore.

What we loved : great restaurants and the beach near by. It’s a very beautiful spot. Receptionist was very nice and kitchen was well equipped. What we didn’t like : the windows didn’t open in the bedrooms, and the bedrooms don’t have any ac or fans so it was very claustrophobic (we asked reception and were told they had to stay locked) - the only air flow for the whole apartment was the balcony door in the living room.

A very cute apartment style accommodation. Rooms were clean and inviting and the staff really looked after us. Special shout out to Vicky and the team. Close to all the shops and very short walk to the marina. Highly recommend if you have the opportunity to stay 😀
