Stayed here the night before and night of our wedding. The congratulatory bottle of sparkling was a lovely gesture but aside from that, we felt that the hotel left a lot to be desired. The fixtures and design of the hotel are stunning, but it’s unfortunately evident that whoever planned it didn’t have the customer experience in mind. There is no dedicated space for luggage and the bathroom mirror placement and lighting made getting ready for the day difficult. This is the first hotel we’ve encountered across 3 continents that doesn’t provide free bottled water and slippers. Although this is a minor gripe, those amenities are expected from a hotel of this calibre. Breakfast options are extremely limited and in small portion. Instead of pancakes, you’re served a singular pancake and you need to pay extra if you’d like bacon with your eggs. I’m not sure what the point of holding us up to sign the receipt of an included breakfast was, but it felt unnecessary. The receipt said the cost of 2x Eggs Benny, 2x small coffees and an orange juice would have been $78, so quite expensive if not included in your room rate too. Lastly, the service was cold and uninviting. The welcome cocktails supposedly included in our package were never offered. To top it off, our experience was further soured after we left when the front desk called us to accuse us of stealing shower gel that is bolted to the wall(??!) It was certainly still in the room when we left so I’m not sure what happened and can only assume miscommunication from housekeeping.
Great location! Modern furnish rooms but on the darker tone so not necessary great for young kids or seniors. Dyson air dryer and B&O speaker which were a plus. But no amenities tooth brush and bedroom slippers which needs to be requested each time. Sadly for the branded accessories, QT miss the basic of complimentary Mineral water. Bottled water part of mini bar which are chargeable. Decent gym but within an enclosed room without windows so a little claustrophobic. Hotel has no pool for a rated 5* property. Breakfast options was a 1 time only alacate style with 1 main 1 coffee and 1 juice which was lovely.
My partner and I have stayed at the QT twice this year, and it has quickly become our favorite staycation spot. The hotel’s central location makes it perfect for exploring, and the staff are consistently fantastic. For my 21st birthday, we called ahead, and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate our dietary requirements. The rooms are always spotless and beautifully designed, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. We can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories!
Staying at QT Perth was wonderful. First impressions with the lobby were clean and lively. The lovely staff member Larissa , that served me was very bubbly & sweet. Larissa was so welcoming and made sure to inform us all about what was happening tonight with the rooftop, the bar and the grill. Staff pay a lot of attention to notes left by guest on their bookings. While staying at the hotel they surprised us with some delicious chocolate truffles. The room itself was set out perfectly, everything was arranged professionally and orderly. They had different assorted towels and bathrobes which was a lovely bonus for us. A Bathtub which fit two people & they provide two different shower heads that provided us with a luxury environment. The lighting in our room created an aesthetic setting, especially for an anniversary. Room service was perfect as well, everything we ordered came to us fast and efficiently which was great, it was surprising they offered room service past 10:30pm. The pricing for the food is a little expensive but for the desserts it’s well worth it. Especially the tiramisu. I think next time, we will skip on the cheese board, since it wasn’t really for me. However it was a really nice one time try for a special night. Check in and check out can all be done online which was so nice to see, it was way faster doing it online. Larissa needs a pay rise and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you QT for having us.
Very disappointed, below standard of QT hotels. No toilet brush in the bathroom, and the bath was filthy. Room service is incredibly expensive and the food is well below average (think overcooked steak and burnt burger buns with the thinnest slice of cheese for around $50 per plate of food). Concierge staff are polite until it comes to checkout and they want you gone. Bar menu is underwhelming.
