The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The layout was practical and well designed, and the location was excellent — close to everything we needed and very convenient for getting around. However, I was disturbed twice by a maintenance staff member despite having the “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed. This was particularly frustrating as it interrupted my meeting, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, it was still a good stay thanks to the roomy accommodation and great location, but better attention to guest privacy would make the experience even better.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. In July 2025, my younger brother visited Australia and stayed at this hotel. As I did not have the opportunity to return to China, I asked him to help bring some gifts I had purchased for my parents in Japan last year, including temple-blessed safety charms and a pair of earrings. Although the items were not expensive, they were extremely meaningful to me. These items were placed inside a very large brown paper bag on the floor between the two beds in the room, with no trash bin nearby. It was a clearly visible, large bag, which makes the situation difficult to understand. On the night before checkout, my brother returned to the room and discovered that the bag was missing. He clearly remembered seeing it there that morning before leaving. I immediately went to the front desk to seek assistance. Staff informed me that cleaning services were outsourced and said they were not aware of the situation. After further communication, we were told the cleaner reported not seeing the bag. Up to now, no solution or clear explanation has been provided. I was also concerned to find another guest online who described a very similar experience at this same hotel in 2023 involving missing belongings and no resolution. While the financial value of the items was small, their emotional value was very important to me, and I had waited a long time for the chance to send these meaningful gifts home to my family. This experience has been deeply upsetting. I hope the hotel can take this matter seriously, review its internal processes, and provide clearer support when guests report lost belongings.

I stayed here in November last yea, the check in staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was suitable for me, but to share a room with my daughter and to have frosted glass as a wall doesn't give much privacy. But when the room is paid for you I'm not complaining to much. Look forward to my stay again this Tuesday.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Adelaide for six nights while attending LIV Golf 2026. The hotel is a little hidden, but it’s right in the centre of Adelaide CBD, which makes it very convenient. Public transport is just around the corner, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, so getting around and finding places to eat was very easy. The room was clean although slightly on the smaller side. Breakfast was okay, but it would be even better with more variety, as the options were mostly the same each day. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-located hotel, and we would happily stay here again when visiting Adelaide.

Nice hotel in a central location. The rooms are somewhat small and cramped. The bathroom is a glass casing which is a little unprivate when your with someone. The shower outlet had a bad odour but the shower itself was good. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. Was a little disappointed with parking costing 28 dollars a day. The stairwell of the carpark stunk of stale urine. Overall, expensive for what you get.
