Thanks to the team at Hotel Indigo for a lovely 4 night stay for the NRL Magic Round! Special shout out to Foxy at reception - warm, welcoming, funny and just a wonderful human :) The check in process was quick and easy - they even had both our rooms ready for check-in 5hrs early! The staff from the reception, to the restaurant and house keeping were all super friendly and extremely professional. We loved the modern decor and it has some nice amenities (i.e. a small gym, working spaces, the restaurant and bar, etc...). The location was great - about a 20min Uber from the Airport and we got around the city center on foot - didn't feel the need to use public transport or taxis/Ubers. There are plenty of cafes and eateries near by - but I would highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel! If I'm ever back in Brisbane, I'd happily stay here again!

This boutique hotel offers exceptional value for money. We booked a nights accommodation for our family of 4 with buffet breakfast included. Every employee that helped us from check in, to accessing the pool and at breakfast provided us with incredible and very friendly customer service. In our booking notes, I advised we were celebrating a special milestone... To our delight, the room was thoughtfully set up, with a lovely note from management. Rooftop pool is amazing in the morning hours when it gets direct sunlight. The on-site gym is very well layed out and has plenty of equipment and an amazing treadmill. We will most definitely book again!

Staff are very kind and try their best, and the food at the restaurant/bar was very nice. The problem is the rooms - they are getting very run down and need maintenance and repairs. No tissues, only a single robe and bottle of water, the door stop to the toilet doesn’t work, the tv streaming didn’t work and we had the hot water cut off mid shower several times after running it for 5 minutes before getting in as directed by the staff. The cleanliness of the rooms was not good, I had to wipe down the small work area as it was covered in food stains and makeup, there was a lot of dust near and under the bed and bedside table and on the bed head. I have allergies and was very uncomfortable. The walls and doors, as well as the safe were covered in weird, sticky marks and stains with chipped paint. It really really needs a good clean and maintenance. It was pretty disappointing and felt quite cheap and lets the rest of a very pleasant experience down.

I have to say that the hotel itself is wonderful. The front desk staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and willing to help with any questions we had. They actually recommended the hotel’s own restaurant, Izakaya, which I have to say had wonderful gyozas. Unfortunately, this is where our experience took a turn for the worse. The service from the restaurant staff, particularly the manager, Yela, was extremely disappointing. The manager herself took our order for food and cocktails. When the cocktails arrived, mine was missing. I didn’t say anything at first because I assumed it would arrive shortly afterward. However, after waiting about 15 minutes, I mentioned to her that my cocktail was still missing. Instead of simply apologizing and checking with the bar, she seemed skeptical and went to verify the order. Once she realized that the cocktail had indeed been missed, she went to the bar to prepare it herself. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, after I had already been waiting 20 minutes for my drink, I watched her finish preparing it and then take the time to photograph it before bringing it to me. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay whatsoever. Her attitude came across as arrogant and was, unfortunately, a major disappointment. It is especially sad because the hotel itself is beautiful and has a lot to offer. However, having a manager who seems to lack a basic understanding of customer service and the importance of maintaining a welcoming attitude can significantly affect the overall guest experience. I truly hope the hotel addresses this, because the property and the rest of the staff deserve better. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the restaurant service we experienced did not live up to it.

From the booking to the welcoming checkin to the express checkout, this experience was absolutely first rate and did not dissapoint. Onsite valet parking available each night at $36 for disability pass holders. Rooms are clean and themed with the history of the area. Onsite Japanese/Australian restaurant and separate themed bar and lounge. Room service is from the restaurant and quality is amazing, priced comparitively, does have a $5 room charge. Dine in buffet style breakfast is amazing quality and comparitively priced. Loved the views of the city lights and did not notice any traffic noise. As we were utilising the mediation conference centre right next door, Indigo was well worth the expense just for it's experience on a rainy few days. I cannot thank the staff enough for an amazing service and caring experience, from the staff on checkin/checkout, to the talented and helpful restaurant staff that went out of thier way to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend for ambulant and non ambulant alike, nothing is too hard for the staff. I wish I had taken some names so I could personally acknowledge them in this review.
