We came for the High cheese and pasta wheel + 2 hrs of house wine $69 on Friday nights . Overall we had a great time and did enjoy the food. And the service was great , very friendly staff who kept our drinks topped up . We also found it fairly good value for money because where else can you get a two course meal with drinks ( assuming you get at least 3 glasses of wine ) for $69. I have removed 2 stars for 2 reasons , one has to do with the type of food we received and the other to do with the hot environment and no air-conditioning or fans . the advertising for the high cheese and pasta Wheel has us slightly confused as we did not receive the cheese tower we thought we were going to get. Nowhere in the advertising does it state that it varies every week but what we got was vastly different from what was advertised. If the advertising hadn’t specified the food we were supposed to get I would’ve definitely given it another star. But I really don’t like false advertising. The food we did receive tasted good and if you’re not big eaters, the size was still fine. I have included a photo of what we thought we were going to get just for a point of reference. And it actually list the food you’re supposed to get. The second issue was that we were seated inside and there was no air-conditioning on and no fans inside and it was very hot on a summers night. In fact, the table behind us inside requested to be moved outside ( where there was a slight breeze) after about 20 minutes as it was clearly too hot for them as well. I feel like they need at least fans inside to circulate the air on warm summer nights. But we did like the experience and we would be back with just different expectations of the food and making sure we were seated outside if it’s summer.

We had the High Cheese & Pasta Wheel dinner. The food and drinks quality were absolutely fantastic. The portion was generous. Really good value for money. And best of all the service staffs were knowledgeable, friendly, very efficient and made our dining experience very enjoyable. The location was fantastic we even caught a beautiful sunset before dinner. Definitely will comeback. Highly recommend.

beautiful venue. Food is great and good atmosphere. It was busy even on weekday. Im a bit worried how it's gonna be on weekends and event time... hope the area will be expanded and have better transport in the future.

Had a great lunch with Wifey over the weekend at this place that had great food and surroundings - @thehillsofrivermakers 🤗 . It’s a great time to visit them because they’ve got a mini Christmas village with a Christmas themed cafe, mini petting zoo - all in addition to a great venue overlooking the Brisbane river and a dedicated indoor kids play zone ! 😇 . Food wise, we loved the freshly made pizza (we got a Margherita pizzas with Prosciutto) and the hot Seafood Platter was pretty yummy too - Wifey liked the battered Fish and the chicken salt chips were delish! 🤤 . All in all a really nice venue to chill with family and friends & enjoy the friendly service that the team here put on. We’re already looking forward to planning our next visit 🙌🏻🥳 . . . #brunch #Christmas #supportlocal

I did write and leave feedback in regards to my visit to Rivermakers, with my Grandchildren. However, 3 weeks later and no response, which is disappointing. Hence my review. The quality and temperature of our food was terrible. When teenage boys complain about a pizza and don't eat it, there is definitely a problem, along with the Parmi. We had to send back food, which was cold plus the other items we had were very average. The pricing of the food certainly did not reflect the quality. Definitely not value for money! On a positive note the grass area with the bean bags was a great way for them to chill out and have fun. For a bill of $160, I will not be returning.
