Reviews for Abode Woden

I had a great stay at Abode Woden. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy, with excellent facilities including a fridge, microwave and access to laundry facilities, which made my stay very convenient. The bed was especially impressive very large and extremely comfortable. Reception staff were really lovely and welcoming, and the food pantry offered great options. The restaurant attached to the hotel had fantastic coffee and breakfast choices, which i loved having delivered straight to my room. A big bonus was the large car park directly opposite the hotel, which was free after 5:30pm it was great not having to worry about paying for parking. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. Would happily stay again.

The room very clean, bed comfortable and quiet location. Service friendly and very helpful. Great location, close to Westfield's and plenty of great choices for eating. Hotel restaurant was very good food, dietary requirements catered for and reasonably priced. Only criticism was a little trip hazard at doorway into the bathroom especially for husband's disability.

The good: Friendly staff, room had the necessities, as well as a bar fridge and microwave (we were just in a family room, not an apartment so I was impressed with that). Mostly clean and fresh, however the exceptions are listed below. Loved the cafe (Number 10) and their coffee was the best!! Cheap price (only $137 for a family room for a night). The bad: For some reason there was a shower cap over the smoke alarm - not sure if this was placed their by a previous customer or staff - but it was concerning either way because we only noticed it the next morning. Dust and some mold on window sills. A small amount of mold in shower grout. Stain on throw cushion. Bathroom exhaust fan not working (not my problem but not a good sign).

The location, staffs and room itself are great. but I am disappointed how the quilt/the comforter didn’t have proper cover , it was basically covered with extra bedsheet. when I realised that and looked closely, it was not very pleasing sight(see pictures). If I am mistaken or there’s good explanation for this, I am more than happy to remove this review. Thanks

I travelled solo and felt safe and comfortable. Room was immaculate and spacious. I’ve already started recommending this hotel to friends and family. The restaurant downstairs was a highlight - best steak I’ve had in ages.
