The room was very clean, spacious, and fully everything you need to cater to your stay in Abode Woden. It had excellent facilities, a fridge, an oven, a bathroom and a shower. The receptionist, Muhammad, was incredibly nice and helpful. He was very friendly and polite with my son, always making sure that he was safe. Muhammad was always very attentive and listened to my son’s requests to call me. Thank you Muhammad, for being a great receptionist. I wish you a wonderful and bright future.

Overpriced and not worth the value. Maybe it was during a chess tournament nearby and it was almost fully booked, we were charged $240 per night for a family room with no breakfast, which is usually charged at $120 to $130 from previous reviews. They are good at ripping off. Pros: good location. Walking distance to Westfield. Room has kitchen and washing machine. Cons: lifts need service. Very loud and banging sound. There was a constant squeaking noise from the lift we can hear from our room. Very loud and annoying at night. Poor window insulation. Loud noise from road can be heard from room. Poor room facilities. Air con kept resetting itself. Not able to control temperature or change mode. TV was flashing and broken. Cannot watch TV because it kept flashing. Cannot connect and cast from phone. WiFi was very poor and kept disconnected. Bathroom has a high step up. Kids are easy to trip over. Almost no housekeeping. We were told they can only do housekeeping on every fourth day. We stayed for five nights and they only did it once. Rubbish left out for two days without being collected. No amenities. No gym or pool. Buffet breakfast is expensive and not worth the money.

Close to Westfield which has good shopping and food options and the Hellenic Club. The mattress was springy and felt a but cheap but I didnt wake up with a sore back or neck which is good. Standard serviced apartment kitchen with pans and utensils was nice but I didnt use them. Room had dryer and washing machine combo which I also didn't use. Good desk for office work and nice bedside lights dimmable for a less intense experience. Only issue was windows are thin and I had the garbage truck at 430AM plus a few loud cars occasionally. Nice coffee also, Vittoria Mountain Grown plus decaf.

I had a wonderful stay at Abode Woden! The rooms are spacious and modern, and having a fully equipped kitchen is a huge plus for those who prefer to cook. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Westfield Woden, where you can find everything you need. I noticed that prices here are much more reasonable compared to Sydney! Transportation is also very convenient with easy access to the bus network for exploring Canberra. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canberra, especially those who appreciate a bit more space and the convenience of self-catering.

I travelled solo and felt safe and comfortable. Room was immaculate and spacious. I’ve already started recommending this hotel to friends and family. The restaurant downstairs was a highlight - best steak I’ve had in ages.
