Reviews for Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa

Let me preface by saying that the missus and i are not actually staying at this resort, but have come by to check it out while we are in the area, and that Im not one at all to write reviews unless i genuinely believe that the place deserves more than a 5 star rating. Never before have we felt so welcomed. First falling in love with Sofia when we went to try out the breakfast. She was nothing if not absolutely beautiful not only as a person but as a Pullman representative. She took us on a tour of the resort, showed us the different rooms, and pretty much guaranteed that our next holiday to Port Douglas will be spent right here at the Pullman. It didnt take too much, but her smile and charm convinced us to come back for dinner, where we had the pleasure of meeting Daniela, who just like Sofia, delivered such a homely restaurant experience, we were genuinely sad we had to go back to our resort. Along with all the support staff, these two have made it a certainty that when we return, the Pullman will be our resort of choice. Well done team!!!

We've stayed at numerous resorts over the years, but this one must be one of the best. Location - a 3 minute walk to 4 Mile Beach. Far enough away from the town of Port Douglas to be calm, peaceful and away from the noise or both town and highway, yet close enough o the town to drive to in abut 5-6 minutes. Recommend visitors rent a car as the (independent) shuttle bus operator charges $9 per person each way. For a couple that's $36; for a family of 4 that's $72. The resort staff are simply wonderful and attentive. Special kudos to Rhythym, the day manager, as he looked after us and our special needs brilliantly. We WILL return.

The positive about this hotel the location on the beach, beautiful ambiance with the swimming pool wrapping around the rooms, lush gardens. Love the swimout rooms great for family's. June in the restaurant for breakfast was a great asset and wonderful happy service. The rooms really need updating, the TVs we small and not smart. Had to place a deposit down to obtain a fire stick. Spa unusable,

Staff members were friendly and accomodating to requests! Breakfast had a big selection of items and seating was ample, would recommend the breakfast. My partner and I really enjoyed the relaxing environment of the resort. Lagoon was big and clean! Room spa however was not the cleanest but had great facilities within them. The location is quiet from the town centre.

We had a pool accessible room. It was the best choice for the kids and us! The pool was amazing. Huge apartment for the four of us with anything that we needed. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and always went out of their way to help. Big shout out to Logan! Such a happy guy always welcomed us with a smile and asked about our day. He is a credit to The Pullman. A few things that could have improved our stay.More staff needed to tidy up regularly around the pool. Lots of empty glasses around. More staff for housekeeping, we didn't need our room serviced everyday but a couple of requests that we had took longer than we would have expected. The bedrooms and bathrooms in the apartment are tired. Ceiling fans were rusty, mouldy blinds and the bathroom cupboards were falling apart. This needs to be updated for the 5 star rating that the hotel has. All in all though a lovely holiday at The Pullman and we hope to be back one day. Thank you
