With a capacity of 200 people and open plan design, the sapce can accommodate functions of various sizes and can be tailored to suit your needs. An intimate room designed specifically for our custom whisky and cocktail classes can accommodate a group of up to 30 individuals.

With capacity for up to 150 guests, the Front Main Bar offers a stylish cocktail bar atmosphere, premium drinks selection and lively energy, making it a versatile space for birthdays, engagements, weddings, cocktail parties, corporate events, after-work drinks and special celebrations.

Intimate & Luxurious Private Space
Stage space was vast and the brief was "to make it feel intimate, sexy, cool and luxurious on a tight budget,” says Jacqui, who certainly achieved that. With its gorgeous use of blue (from peacock to inkier tones), space combines leather, velvet, brass, and marble for a luxe, sexy vibe.

Our Whisky Room provides a warm and inviting backdrop for any celebration. With a capacity of 40 people. With over 600 bottles residing behind the bar, take your pick from the premium beverage selection – including wine, spirits, and over 500 whiskies from around the world. We were only here for a cocktail which was good and the service was as well. It was pretty empty when we were there (one of the first customers of the day)- it was noticeable that few things needed to be upgraded/cleaned. There were used tissues on the floor, the toilet seat was basically coming off, the chairs near the bar are not comfortable. This place gives more a dive bar feeling than classic cocktail bar.

We recently hosted my partner’s 40th birthday at The Kilburn, it was a Casino Royale theme. Courtney, Mollie and the team were fantastic to deal with from day one! Reasonable pricing for the minimum spend and drinks packages, a beautiful venue and they were very generous with the hours we could host for on the Saturday night. I really appreciated how flexible they were with the vendors we used and decorations / catering and entertainment that we organised. The team were great on the night and made sure my partner had a wonderful birthday. I highly recommend working with them for your next event

I arrived for happy hour just after 4pm. The bar was quiet, and the lady behind the bar was friendly and engaging. I had a Hawkers Stout (non happy hour), and Hawkers "Kilburn" lager. Both were very enjoyable, with a good depth of flavour. It is so refreshing to find a non CUB selection of beer. And to enjoy it in a schmick venue. With great staff. If I were a whisky drinker, I believe I'd be in trouble here, as the selection looks extensive and quality. Same with the cocktails. I'd come here in a heart beat before any of the pubs around Glenferrie. Definitely worth a visit 👍😀🍺
