We were only here for a cocktail which was good and the service was as well. It was pretty empty when we were there (one of the first customers of the day)- it was noticeable that few things needed to be upgraded/cleaned. There were used tissues on the floor, the toilet seat was basically coming off, the chairs near the bar are not comfortable. This place gives more a dive bar feeling than classic cocktail bar.

We recently hosted my partner’s 40th birthday at The Kilburn, it was a Casino Royale theme. Courtney, Mollie and the team were fantastic to deal with from day one! Reasonable pricing for the minimum spend and drinks packages, a beautiful venue and they were very generous with the hours we could host for on the Saturday night. I really appreciated how flexible they were with the vendors we used and decorations / catering and entertainment that we organised. The team were great on the night and made sure my partner had a wonderful birthday. I highly recommend working with them for your next event

I arrived for happy hour just after 4pm. The bar was quiet, and the lady behind the bar was friendly and engaging. I had a Hawkers Stout (non happy hour), and Hawkers "Kilburn" lager. Both were very enjoyable, with a good depth of flavour. It is so refreshing to find a non CUB selection of beer. And to enjoy it in a schmick venue. With great staff. If I were a whisky drinker, I believe I'd be in trouble here, as the selection looks extensive and quality. Same with the cocktails. I'd come here in a heart beat before any of the pubs around Glenferrie. Definitely worth a visit 👍😀🍺

Stage space was vast and the brief was "to make it feel intimate, sexy, cool and luxurious on a tight budget,” says Jacqui, who certainly achieved that. With its gorgeous use of blue (from peacock to inkier tones), space combines leather, velvet, brass, and marble for a luxe, sexy vibe.
