Hidden upstairs on Church street this place is a super find. Absolutely gorgeous decor, fabulous menu and outstanding cocktail selection. Staff are delightful and very happy to assist, mindful of food issues and quick to suggest options. Absolutely excellent. The walls lined with every fabulous beverage you can imagine look sensational and add to the relaxed luxe feel. Great for lunch or dinner - the pizzas are delicious and all side and sharing plates are too notch. Can't fault it!! Even the loo is pleasant š

sydneysider occasionally coming to Melbourne and never missing a brunch/ cocktail evening session in flour child. One Of my fav spots. The food is outstanding ( am Italian) and love the pinsa as well as the cheese and cured meat selection. The staff is so friendly and welcoming ( Siofra thanks for the great service today!) Great value, yummy cocktails, great music and vibe.

Iāve been to Flour Child Richmond more than five times now, which probably tells you everything you need to know. Yes, the pizzas are excellent and deservedly get most of the attention, but what keeps bringing me back is everything else. The menu has real depth. On my latest visit I had the pumpkin and thyme ravioli and it was one of those dishes that reminds you how good simple food can be when itās done properly. Balanced, comforting and packed with flavour. The service is another standout. The team genuinely seem happy to be there. They greet you with a smile, look after your guests, and make the whole experience feel effortless. Hospitality sounds simple until you realise how few venues actually get it right. The venue itself has a great energy. The outdoor area is a particular highlight, with retractable glass and roofing that lets you enjoy the atmosphere year-round without worrying about Melbourneās weather deciding to ruin your plans. Good food, good drinks, good people and a venue that knows exactly what it is. My only complaint? They donāt open before midday. Richmond is full of places to eat. Flour Child is one of the few I actively look forward to returning to.

Had a great lunchtime experience at Flour Child. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual catch-up. The food was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour ā you can tell quality ingredients are a focus. Service was friendly and efficient without being over the top. Overall, a really enjoyable spot for lunch and definitely worth a return visit.

My friend and I came on the 29th as a last minute place to have late dinner and drinks after a really long day at workā¦ the staff were SO kind and accommodating at fitting us in so late and last minute. We also made a mistake in ordering our food from the QR code and they were so professional, understanding and accommodatingā¦. 10/10 service asideā¦. The food that came was UNREAL! Anything from the menu is delicious. And of course the vibes of good music, warm nights and good views were great. I couldnāt recommend this place more and I hope the manager/owner knows how great their staff are. We canāt wait to come back!!
