This hotel is in a very good location. An easy walk to the MCG. The staff were very professional and the room was clean and tidy. Very basic room with not a whole lot of space. The toilet shower door was odd but I understand its to save space. The free breakfast is convenient but not very nice. I would 100% stay here again no worries. When you arrive take the elevator to level 7 and then when to get to your room level scan your card in the lift and get to your level. You dont need to scan it to go back down.

Conveniently located hotel with off street secure parking available. Rooms are clean & modern and some have nice views of city or parkland nearby. Generally a hotel that’s pretty good value for the location and standard of rooms. Sone people might not like the dual purpose bathroom/shower glass door so keep this in mind if you’re sharing with somebody and you need bathroom privacy.

After staying at this hotel for every visit in Melbourne for 7 years and encouraging all my friends, family and colleagues to do the same I cant say that I wil ever stay here again. Disappointed!! Corporate rate included parking suddenly it doesnt, but the carpark is mostly empty. Used to have some one available at checkin to always greet and check you in. Stood for approx. 10 mins before someone even acknowledged that I was there. And the most important, after a long day of customer meetings and team dinners I used to enjoy a solitary drink whenever I came back to the hotel no matter what time. This is also gone!! No longer a place I will stay and will look elswhere. The team will as well.

The hotel is in a convenient location - right opposite the Langham Hotel. One street back from Southbank. It’s a popular and big hotel. No pool. The check-in experience was very ordinary. It’s not great to have their office at the check-in reception. It made it seem there were 3 staff available but only 1 doing the check-in with a long line waiting. We waited 20 minutes. People were also no happy as one of the three lifts was faulty with the room key without any signage explaining how to work the temperamental sensor. The decor was modern. The room was quite nice. Huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was ordinary and felt a bit like feeding at a cafeteria. Cutlery & food items were running out and not replaced soon enough.

Im currently still in this hotel and i leave tommorow but I had a strange and frustrating experience with the housekeeping staff. While my brother and I were relaxing in our room, we heard an unusual knock on the door it sounded more like someone tapping with a stick than a normal knock. Before I could even reach the door, the housekeeper opened it herself and nearly hit me. She said, “Housekeeping?” I told her we didn’t need anything, then she offered towels, which I declined. About an hour later, the same distinct knock returned. My brother answered, and again, it was the housekeeper asking if we needed service. This time, he said yes because we wanted the room cleaned, but since we were getting ready to leave, he closed the door. We placed the housekeeping tag outside so they would return. However, when we came back later, nothing had been done the room was exactly the same. The most frustrating part is that the house keeper came when we didnt need her and didnt come when we actualy needed her. The also odd thing is the near the bathroom and the bathroom itself. The one door for everything isn't really my thing, there's a gap in the door when i try to close it for anything and it doesn't help that there is a mirror so that other people can see my butt. I get it, it suppose to feel modern but dont make it out of glass, what is even the point are you trying to make people look at your everything. Overall this hotel is ok, at least the city is pretty much walkable and the trams really help, but the house keeper and glass door. oof
