My first time here and my mate has raved about it for ages. I had the brisket burger and we shared a load of sides. The burger itself was nice but fairly basic. The sides were all quite expensive for what they were, I thought. Coleslaw at $14 for a small bowl was extortionate, the cheesy mac bites were nice, the chilli cheese fries were a bit soggy and lacking a lot of cheese and the southern fried chicken at $26 was way overpriced too. It was a good meal but I wasn’t overly full for $65+ and I think I should’ve been. The young English lass serving was very good. Nice looking venue inside with the smoky smells wafting through.

Holy mackerel!! When they say $86 a head for 7 dishes over 3 courses, what they really mean is “we’re going to feed you so much food that you’ll be doing a rendition of limp bizkit’s song “rollin’ “ as you attempt to leave.” Nothing but the highest of praise for both the front and back of house staff. Absolutely impeccable service and food. 10/10 will visit again.

we come eat here EVERY time we are in melbourne and oh my goodness they never disappoint!! we walked in at 8:50pm on a sunday night & asked if there kitchen was still open. they told us yes but order within the next 10 mins. we order within a couple minutes & no word of a lie everything was in the table within 11mins. all entrees, mains and even the cocktails! the service was so incredibly fast & the food is always AMAZING! the meat just falls off of the bone! the mash potatoes, crab balls & mac and cheese are 3 entrees we can never go without! dark ambient lighting… very moody 10/10 would recommend !!!

I really liked the pork ribs and the potato salad. Pork ribs fell off the bone. The restaurant had a Smokey smell. Might not sit well with some. I still enjoyed my meal and would be back.

Visited Le Bon Ton on a busy Saturday night without a booking and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away, even with a function happening. The restaurant has a beautiful layout and a warm, lively ambiance that really sets the tone for a great meal. We ordered the smoked chicken, brisket burger, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and smoked broccoli — all were delicious, with generous portions that made it great value for money. The food was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and efficient, though it would’ve been nice to be asked if we’d like another drink. Overall, a great dining experience and I’d definitely come back again!

The Absinthe Lounge
This gorgeous, semi-private room has plenty of character. Set in the corner of the venue, close to all amenities and boasting its own oyster bar. This room caters for all, from an intimate affair to a large celebration. Seating 40 pax Sit Down and 65 pax Cocktail Style.
Small Dinning Room
Our small semi-private dining room is closed off by Plush Velvet Curtains with a Private Fireplace to create an intimate environment . This room is located within the heart of the venue and perfect for corporate meetings or groups looking for a relaxed atmosphere
