An average experience as opposed to the Marriott I'm used to. Unfortunately the heating didn't work, bathroom sink clogs, my room wasn't very clean and I would have much rather been asked to pay the $30 fee than the way that the message was delivered about what the fee normally is. Sefa the staff member was an absolute delight and check in/ check out is relatively easy. This is potentially the budget version of Marriott hotels which may create confusion. Staying here at the moment for the first time as a Titanium member. Was upgraded to an Executive room as they said there was no available suite at check in. Location is definitely very convenient with lots of restaurants in surrounding streets, including Chinatown. Service from everyone we met or came across so far has been good and helpful. The M Club lounge is very small and so is the vanity top and basin in the bathroom. Not really any views from the room and the window was quite dirty. Breakfast was enjoyed for the first time this morning. Thank you for the various lactose free options. Always like a fresh fruit and vegetable juicing station but there was no ginger provided. Over the course of a few days, Marron has been exceptional friendly and helpful at Essence (breakfast).

We had a wonderful stay, with its perfect location making it easy to get around and explore the area. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast offered an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. The clean and relaxing pool and spa facilities were perfect for unwinding.

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our Australia trip and it was a fantastic introduction to Melbourne. The location made it easy to explore the city, restaurants, laneways, and nearby attractions while still feeling comfortable and upscale after long travel days from the US. The room was clean and comfortable, staff was welcoming, and the hotel worked perfectly as a base for tours and exploring the city. We especially appreciated how convenient it was for balancing sightseeing with downtime after the long international flight. Their breakfast buffet option with custom made to order omelettes is also a great addition to provide the fuel needed for a busy day of exploring the city. Would absolutely stay here again for anyone wanting a centrally located hotel in Melbourne with reliable service and easy access to the city.

Breakfasts were a bit chaotic with missing items had to be requested (tea pots, spoons etc). Coffee machine temperamental and a constant frustration. Location good for the city but the hotel is a bit tired and not what I expected ftom a Marriott. There's probably better hotels in Melbourne that are in a good location.
