The staff are wonderfully attentive and the rooms beautiful and comfy. Really appreciated the friendliness and attention to detail provided to us on our wedding weekend! The staff went out of their way and made our stay and celebration fabulous and memorable. Thank you all!

Our stay was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The lobby was elegant and modern, and check-in was quick. The room had a stunning city view and all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The pool and gym were great additions too. A perfect place for both business and leisure stays in Melbourne.

Very good central location. That's about it. Breakfast is average, the restaurant is dark and no windows. The hotel is ok but not worth the price tag it was $560 for the night for two people in a room with two queen beds. I was charged $5 for a water bottle that I bought when I was out they saw the empty bottle and charged me it wasn't even the same brand available on their minibar. There was a welcome letter (I'm Accor member) next to it a tiny chocolate bar (maybe 20g) wrapped with the hotel logo and a pair or socks I thought this was complimentary considering it was next to the letter and there was no price list. I ate the chocolate and took the socks, got charged $7 for the chocolate and $15 for the socks, I should have double checked the items were complimentary I just made a dumb assumption as they were next to the letter and I had received this type of gifts on other Accor hotels. The water should be refunded though as it was not from the hotel at all. I don't rate this hotel as a 5 star, maybe a 3 1/2. We got to the hotel at 11pm tried to order room service and there were only two items available. It's time to rebrand to a lower category.

The hotel was very clean and rooms larger than we expected. The staff were welcoming and nice to deal with. It was very convenient to shopping right outside the door, trams were also located right outside the door of the hotel, but it was reasonably quite and hidden away at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Only annoying thing was that the GHD hair straightener was not working when I wanted to get ready, super annoying, as my partner had to get it replaced via reception and hence this made us being late. There is some small noise coming from the night club music but we were able to sleep through it and wasn’t too bad, maybe higher floors would have less of this (we were on second floor). Otherwise we would stay again.

WARNING I made a mistake.. tried to change our room at check in but unfortunately the staff & Manager took an exception to my husband when he basically pleaded to change our room even though I am the Accor Member After much back & forth over a few hours intermittently I was firmly told it is at our discretion & company policy to change if the manager wanted too & we may not even give you a room anyway. Never felt so embarrassed , tearful & uncomfortable in all my years supporting this brand. We were in Melbourne for 5 business days so had no choice as too expensive to lose our money & go elsewhere Being in retail all my life I would never treat a customer how I was treated today. Unfortunately had to stay in an unsuitable room & this has tarnished my long term loyalty of this brand. Be careful when booking online!!!!!!
