I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent value. The room itself was perfectly satisfactory—clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff were professional, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. Another major highlight was the breakfast menu. There was a fantastic variety of high-quality options that exceeded my expectations for a standard hotel breakfast. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. While I rarely give out a perfect 5-star rating because I am notoriously difficult to completely satisfy, this stay came incredibly close. I would gladly return!

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. Absolutely loved it. All the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect for your stay. The amenities make everything a dream - from the bed through to the standalone bath, ensuite fittings through to in-room coffee machine. Robes and slippers available on request. Love the added touch of sparkling water you can take up to your room whenever you like. And then there's the buffet brekky which was just brilliant - hot food, cold food, pastries, pastramis, fruit, juice and coffee, all you could want! Loved how close it is to Melbourne Central and all the food. Will be coming back for sure and next time hopefully I can try the pool and gym.

Stayed at the Voco for a business trip back in December and I forgot to write a review! This hotel blew my expectations out of the water, if I could have stayed longer I would have! The view was amazing, the room amenities felt very premium and the service from the hotel staff was great. In future I will consider this as one of my priority hotels to book. The bird theme of the hotel was also rather unique and gave it that little bit of extra charm.

We’ve stayed here countless times over the years, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. This has become our favourite hotel in Melbourne. From the moment you walk in, it feels warm, stylish, and just a little bit indulgent without being over the top. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and everything is always spotless. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every stay, we’re welcomed with genuine warmth and made to feel valued. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and that level of service is one of the biggest reasons we continue to choose this hotel over so many others. The location is another huge advantage. It’s perfectly positioned in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk almost everywhere while still feeling like a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but this one just gets it right. It’s consistently excellent, and every visit reminds us why it’s our first choice whenever we’re in Melbourne. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

It is perfect for a hotel in the city. It is quiet even though it is right in the middle of the city. Transport is very close and hardware lane is just out the door for dinner. It has an excellent restaurant on site, a bar that has a 4pm to 7 pm happy hour. A heated outdoor pool and gym. Still or sparkling water available by the bottle or refill own bottle near reception free of charge. Staff were fantastic from concierge until we checked out.
