Reviews for Courtyard by Marriott Perth Murdoch

Very clean and well-maintained rooms, with friendly and accommodating staff. Great value for the price and ideal for a short stay, especially with its close proximity to the airport and public transport. There are good food options nearby, and the hotel’s own kitchen is convenient—service was fast, though there was a small issue with order accuracy, which could be improved. Overall, a comfortable and practical stay.

Nice clean and very new hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Glass of bubbly on arrival. Good view and lots of food and coffee options nearby. It’s in a medical district with a hospital and other specialist medical industry. 2 bottles water supplied but no mini bar. Was a little expensive but nice place to stay.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in my trip in Perth. The bed was really comfortable and room was cleaned well. The breakfast was delicious and I recommend the Egg Benny! Amenities were perfect. This was the only hotel that I’ve stayed compared with other 4-5 star hotels that provided toothbrush lol. The service by the Indian lady at the front desk was really hospitable and made my stay here even better.

I’m honestly very disappointed with our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Perth, Fremantle. For the price they charge, the experience was unacceptable. They advertise a quadruple room, but it’s essentially two very small beds that barely fit one person each. The mattress protector didn’t even properly cover the mattress, and the bed was poorly made. Each guest gets only one pillow — and not a good one. The room was booked for four people, yet we were given only three towels. When we asked for the missing one, we were told to go pick it up ourselves. That’s not the level of service you expect from a hotel in this price range. To make things worse, the WiFi didn’t work. Overall, very poor value for money. Definitely not what you expect from a Marriott property.

It's a sparking new property with a beautiful lobby and restaurant. Special mention goes to the brilliantly thought-out built-in carpentry layout in the room. It's really well done in maximising space and utility. The fittings in the bathrooms were similarly excellent. Kudos to the architects/interior designers! Check in was a little slow, taking 15-20 minutes before it was our turn. Only 1 staff was manning the check in counter at ~8pm, before 1 colleague came down just as she was done processing the group of 4 people in front of us. A big thank you to Ms Agatha for the upgrade of 1 room (Titanium Elite) to a corner room with the second room (Gold Elite) being on the same floor. No biggie as the rooms don't have connecting doors, so our kids were happy to hunt down their grandparents down the corridor. Complimentary breakfast for Platinum Elite and higher Bonvoy members is ordered from an ala carte menu, with a small spread of ceral/milk available as well. The welcome gifts were the best we have gotten across 30-40 hotels - chocolate, a cup and a bottle of wine. The free street parking lots were all taken up so we had to opt for the hotel's paid lots with a nearby building. Dinner options were very limited and we ended up at Murdoch campus cafeteria for dinner.
