We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were thoroughly impressed by its contemporary design. The property feels incredibly modern and does not look dated at all. Our room was well-maintained, exceptionally clean, and tidy throughout our stay. We originally booked a King Guest Room, which was very spacious and offered a beautiful view of the Swan River. However, we encountered an issue where a sewage smell emitted from the toilet after our showers, and the odour drifted into the main room. The hotel's service recovery, however, was outstanding: First Attempt: We called the front desk, and they promptly sent a housekeeper who cleaned and sprayed scent near the floor traps. Unfortunately, the smell returned after a short while. Personal Touch: We called again, and a staff member named Mavis came up personally to understand the situation. She kindly offered us a room change for the following day. The Upgrade: When we returned from our activities the next day, we found we had been upgraded to a King Premier Panoramic River View Room. It was never our intention to get an upgrade, but we deeply appreciated the staff's willingness to resolve the matter so generously. Great Communication: Amy, whom we chatted with via the hotel app, was also incredibly helpful in ensuring everything was settled smoothly. To make things right, she also gifted us a complimentary one-day breakfast, which was a lovely touch. While the plumbing issue was unfortunate, the exceptional service from Mavis and Amy turned our stay into a very positive experience. We would definitely return!

Everyone was very helpful. Great place to stay. And Trung was fantastic at breakfast, well organised and very helpful. We stayed there for seven days and it was great. Also the lady receptionist on our first night gave us two umbrellas just in case, and we were so grateful for that because we were caught in their great storm which was the worst in Fifty years, so the tv weather man said. And the people at reception were just great. Highly recommend Doubletrees by Hilton at the Waterfront.

This one has been one of the best experiences I’ve had at any Double Tree property. I also think this hotel’s building is very nice and its location couldn’t be better. Right next to the river. The views from my room was great and the one fr the rooftop is incredible, particularly during sunset time. The housekeeping team was great and were there every day consistently to make sure I’d come back to a clean room every day during my stay. The restaurant is great during breakfast and the crew is very attentive. Dinner was also delicious and it came out quickly. The kitchen and servers/waiters work hard and consistently. Kudos to people like Leon and others that make a great effort to ensure guests here have a great stay.

The hotel is has a great location, service is mixed ie. front office no porters for bag service. The services in the restaurant & bars is mainly self service,which I believe is normal in Australia. The buffet has a good choice and quality of food and beverage. I would like a smoking area in each public area , right now you must smoke on the street. Some team members are excellent with a can do attuide others have a attuide you are a taking my time.
