We had an excellent stay with incredible service from the friendly staff. Even though we checked in very late (1 am), the receptionist was polite, helpful, and made the process smooth. The highlight of our stay was the amazing Housekeeping Manager. She found out it was my daughter's birthday and coordinated with the Chef and Manager to prepare a special cake for her! The room was cleaned perfectly, and we loved every part of our experience. I will definitely recommend.

We made our reservation via Booking.com, including breakfast for the kids, but we were still made to pay extra for the kids' breakfast. While the amount was not the issue, as a principle one expects hotels to honour bookings. That was the only issue we had after an extemely long trip. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good variety, though they ran out of pancakea mid-service. My omlette was tasty. The basement parking was good.

I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Gold Coast and the experience was very disappointing. There were multiple spiders around the swimming pool area, which made it uncomfortable and unsafe to relax. When we raised this with the manager, we were told “we don’t touch them, it’s natural.” Nature is part of the environment, but guest safety and comfort should still be a priority, especially in a family pool area. We also found spiders inside our room, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Proper pest control should be done regularly. The shower head looked old and outdated, nothing like what you would expect from a Crowne Plaza property. We’ve stayed at other Crowne Plaza hotels and always had a good experience, but this location has been the worst. Another big disappointment was the ocean view room. Please do NOT book the ocean view room — the view is mostly blocked by surrounding buildings. It does not feel like a proper ocean view at all. There are many other hotels in the area with genuinely better ocean views for the same or even lower price. Overall, this hotel did not feel safe, clean, or worth the money. Definitely not the experience expected from a Crowne Plaza.

I agree with other reviews that the front desk service is awesome. The girls are professional and helpful. However, I would not stay there again because the hotel is a bit dated. The housekeeping department needs to step up. The carpet on the 2nd floor was dirty yesterday and it's the same today again. I also found two long hairs on the accessible shower bench. My room (203) on the second floor is musty, but I can not find the source of the mold. The fridge is also noisy when it runs. It makes a humming sound. Overall, it is fine for a short stay. The hardware of this hotel is inadequate. I am a picky person when it comes to accommodation. So my review might be biased based on my personal preference.

The hotel is excellent the rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Very nice pool and clean, the service staff are professional and helpful and courteous and the hotel location is the best five minutes to the beach and tram stop out the front.Only let down is the quality of the food and the number of food items available on the menu in the restaurant been a international brand hotel catering for international tourism the menu should reflect that and cater for different cultures. Been fair to the hotel I know very well food is a very hard thing to keep everyone happy. But in saying that the menu only needs a little change and add some interesting dishes. Also I would definitely be coming back to stay here again. And highly recommend.
