Great location for what we needed. Well priced, the rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The pool area was lovely, and the large beer garden and bistro were fantastic, especially with the play equipment for the kids. A real highlight was the balloon artist giving out free balloons — that was a huge hit with the children. The food was delicious and well priced, and there was plenty of parking available. Overall, a very enjoyable and convenient stay. The only aspect that let our stay down was the check-in process. Check-in is at 2 pm, but the system wasn’t well organised. There was only one staff member handling arrivals from scratch rather than having paperwork pre-prepared, which made the process very slow. It took us over an hour to check in, and there were many more guests waiting behind us. I arrived at 12 pm and was told I couldn’t check in at all. While I understand that the room key may not have been ready, it would have been helpful to complete the necessary paperwork in advance and simply collect the key at 2 pm. I’ve experienced this approach at other hotels, especially during busy periods, and it makes the process much smoother. I believe a review of the check-in procedure during peak times would greatly improve the guest experience.
Affordable and comfortable accommodation. In a quiet location, separate dwelling from pub. Comfortable beds with quality linen, very clean room. You can tell they have renovated and updated the rooms (motel style still but nicer than most motel rooms) enjoyed sitting out by the pool in the morning on the comfortable deck chair to read a book. Will stay again!
Had a lovely stay , was up here on the Sunshine Coast visiting family. Rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a few meals in the Bistro and to my room and all were delicious and a generous size . ( only gripe, no tissues in the room and the pool area , lovely palms around the pool but the whole area needed a good sweep up of dead palm leaves and the seeds they drop ) but on a whole we enjoyed our stay there .
Room was very clean, aircon on when we arrived so the room was lovely and cool. Bed was comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at the bistro on our last night and the food was excellent. 2 minute drive to shops and Maccas for that all important latte at 5am. Would definitely stay again.
Suitable for overnight stay. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Although near the beer garden rooms were quiet Bathroom very small and room tight. But we did need a ground floor for access issues so not sure if more room in deluxe rooms. Dinner - meals were average not really bistro standard, with cereal packs provided for breakfast so that was handy.
