It's really hard to rate Novotel hotels, as they're often classified as 4-Stars but will do some things better than 5-Stars. The meh: * Parking is fairly priced and nearby but depending on time of day you may need to walk some distance. Would also be hard to navigate for larger cars. * Temporary issue of elevator maintenance can lead to long wait times but not the worst I've seen. * Temporary maintenance of the pool area means a reduction in some facilities but again not a big deal. * Hotel breakfast is "okay" but I'd recommend going out for breakfast if paying for it. The bad: * Housekeeping was really hit and miss; dirty cups, plates left behind, shampoo removed and left empty. * Noise was fine with earplugs in the off season but could see room noise being a bit much with a hotel full of kids. The good: * Location is excellent, close to everything. * Whilst housekeeping was meh the room itself was very clean. Shower and bathroom was clean of mold, and the Nespresso machine not needing de-scaling is always a great indicator. * Welcome cocktail is always great when it's not just a beer. * Buy in to the Accor program was top tier, customer service as a whole was fantastic. * Bathrobe is the most comfortable I've seen in Accor hotels. *Great views of the beach and city. * Good deal with the nearby spa. Excellent hotel, I'd stay again!

Had a very quick stop over here recently. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room was very well equipped and clean. The views were lovely. Had dinner in the restaurant/bar. It was very nice. It had a comfortable, relaxing appeal. Customer service and housekeeping to be commended.

Novotel is in the very centre of Surfers Paradise. We were close to everything we wanted to visit this weekend. The room was amazing. We were given an executive suite. The package included complimentary drinks and snacks. The room was immaculate. The service was great. The only issue was there wasn't a power plug for our mobiles but the reception manager to find one and lend it to us. The price was reasonable even though it was a big weekend with the fireworks competition that was happening.

I stayed Novotel surfers paradise for the Gold Coast Marathon, and it was a wonderful experience. All of the staff, including the restaurant team, were incredibly kind and welcoming. On marathon morning, the drinks and fruit provided in the lobby were greatly appreciated. When I was leaving, I realized I had lost the luggage claim ticket. A middle-aged gentleman on the luggage desk kindly helped me without any hesitation. He was amazing . The hotel really made marathon runners feel welcome. and that made my stay even more special. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories. I will definitely be back and hope to stay here again for next year’s Gold Coast Marathon!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The beach view from our room was absolutely stunning and made the whole experience so relaxing. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants and other services nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the food was delicious with plenty of great options. A special thank you to the reception staff who really paid attention to detail and made us feel valued guests. The thoughtful gift of wine was such a lovely surprise and added a personal touch to our stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
