What a lovely way to spend a Friday night at a Christmas Party on the patio outside looking at the picturesque green and watching golfers all whilst eating my delicious roast meal and listening to Christmas Carols, sipping champagne and having fun! 🎄🧑🎄🦌🥂🎉

This review is entirely aimed at the manager, {Analysse} who provided us with appalling service and a disgusting attitude, the first part of the food arrived an hour late and all they/she could do was make weak excuses and defend herself by saying that there was another function happening, no apologies at all. Majority of the people attending were complaining about the lack of accomodation the staff had, leaving dirty plates on the tables which they had made small attempts to clear and not even bothering to provide more plates once they had all been used. I witnessed Analysse escalating an argument with my grandmother, about the poor management she had provided and delay of the food, to which the members of our party overheard and caught a taste of her fowl attitude. How dare you act so arrogantly and passive aggressive towards an elderly customer, I am extremely embarrassed by Analysses attitude and made sure to apologise to our party members for this. My grandmother said she would leave a complaint about Analysse to which Analysse replied with, “go ahead, leave a complaint”, this woman has no shame. Well here you are Analysse! I hope you appreciate the time I took to write a “thoughtful” review on your service.

I attended a small wedding on the Green. Beautiful, well maintained golf course. The venue has been recently renovated, and the bar area is looking really nice. The grazing boards were well stocked with a variety of things like cheese, olives dips ect. The reception was held upstairs in a beautifully decorated large room with lots of fairy lights. Food was really nice we had chicken or lamb and meals were a great size. Drinks were reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and attentive. A nice choice for a wedding venue. No disabled toilet upstairs, but there is a lift.

Average food. Average service. The charity raffle ladies were awesome. One of the waitresses was good. The barman was gruff. 3rd visit heaps better because of great friendly service from Kara. Cheers!
