The Sofitel is located in a very convenient location. We checked in early which was very helpful and appreciated. The hotel takes a $300 security deposit which is instantly withdrawn from your credit card and not shown as pending which is the usual procedure. At checkout the balance is adjusted appropriately. The rooms are quite spacious and were very comfortable but a bit dated. Breakfast is more than adequate with enough variety to accommodate most people. The dinner in the hotel was very tasty but for the quantity we thought it was overpriced. The pool area is pleasant and staff walk around regularly to take drink and food orders. Overall the staff were extremely polite and helpful. I would stay here again due to it’s proximity.

After 8 years of no holidays, my husband and I had finally taken a long weekend and chose to stay at the Sofitel. We had the most comfortable, luxurious bed, ocean views and amazing customer service from EACH & EVERY STAFF MEMBER. Everyone was kind and attentive, the hotel was clean and well located just a short walk to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The pool was amazing with pool side food and drink services. And the pastries at the breakfast buffet were to die for. I especially loved the unlimited coffee included in the breakfast. Thank you Sofitel for an amazing experience.

I stayed for 4 nights at Sofitel due to business at the Convention Centre. From the moment I walked into the lobby area of this hotel I had a good feeling about the place. I walked forwards to the check in counter only for the concierge to run over to me to make sure I was sorted and alright with my baggage. He then asked if I’d like a glass of champagne to which I kindly confirmed. Shortly after he came back with a glass to enjoy whilst checking in. The check in process was seamless and the staff member behind the counter was very friendly and informative about the hotels services etc. Once check in was completed I headed up to my room on level 20 overlooking the river. The room was immaculate and tidy. The air conditioner on to keep the room cool with the afternoon sun coming through the windows. The bed was very comfortable and hard to get out of each morning. Included in my booking was breakfast which was one of the best buffets I have ever been too. I also ate at the restaurant one night for dinner and the service and food was perfect. Overall Sofitel really goes above and beyond and I will happily stay here again. I loved my stay.

We stayed two nights in a Luxury Room (King, Oceans Views, Spa) - lovely room, fabulous views. We had breakfast both mornings and dinner both nights in Bistro On3 - fantastic! The food was divine! What we loved most about this hotel were the staff - welcoming, friendly, professional, knew their stuff (especially the restaurant staff). The pool area was lovely - very clean, plenty of sun lounges, some shady spots to relax. We will definitely return! Thank you for an awesome stay and for your wonderful, personal service.

My only other experience of a Sofitel was in Adelaide where the hotel is brand new and spectacular so the bar was set pretty high.. unfortunately the Sofitel Broadbeach did not reach this same bar. The service was excellent and I was welcomed with a cold glass of champagne on check in- ten out of ten! Unfortunately the rooms themselves and the physical hotel in general are a little tired. The decor and facilities are just not quite of the standard I was expecting for the price and after staying in Adelaide. The people and service were lovely though.
