I recently stayed at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart and had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share a review. From the moment I arrived, everything about the hotel felt welcoming, comfortable, and well-organized. The location is fantastic, right by the waterfront, which made it easy to explore the city and enjoy the beautiful harbour views. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with large windows that really made the most of the scenery. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of walking around Hobart. The facilities were also excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel struck a great balance between being professional and genuinely welcoming. What truly made my stay memorable, though, was the exceptional service I received from one of the employees, BT (Big Tyson). BT went above and beyond to make sure everything during my stay was perfect. He were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about making guests feel comfortable. I would even compare his work to the likes of LeBron James and Michael Jordan himself. Customer service like that really stands out and makes a big difference when travelling. Thanks to BT and the rest of the team, my stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart was smooth, relaxing, and genuinely enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hobart and would happily stay there again in the future.

This is an amazing hotel. We come here everytime when in Hobart and it has not dissapointed. The rooms are clean and tidy and decorated in a modern and comfortable style. The beds are super comfortable with us having some of the best nights sleep here. The views are just stunning, if booking the harbour view you have an uninterrupted view of the harbour, the bay and surrounding hills. When on the right side you can even see Mt Wellington. The staff are amazing and helpful, trying to make your stay as best as possible. We had an issue with our room which was resolved super quickly followed by a personal call from management. Very happy with the outcome and handling. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant attached with great food and the Atrium Bar is comfortable and serves great food and fantastic drinks. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone and will come back over and over again. The hotel is within a short walk to some great restaurants and bars. It is 5 minutes away from Salamantca Market and even shorter distance from the MONA Roma and other tourist attractions. Parking is available for a fee which is reasonable for city parking.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart for 3 nights and had a really lovely experience overall. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, comfortable, and well organized. The location is fantastic — right near the waterfront — making it easy to explore Hobart and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the hotel itself had a relaxed yet professional feel throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help whenever needed, which made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights for me was the wellness facilities. I particularly enjoyed the pool, gym, and sauna, all of which were kept in great condition and added a lot to the stay. The only small point of feedback I’d mention is that the sauna floor could be cleaned a little more thoroughly, as there were some hairs on the floor that remained there across multiple visits. Aside from that minor detail, everything was excellent and my family and I genuinely enjoyed our time there. I’d happily stay again next time I visit Hobart.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Our room had the most wonderful views, waking up in the morning with a sunrise through the beautiful big windows on the 19th floor is to die for. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and our huge bed was extremely comfortable. It would be nice to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom though for putting on make-up, I did miss this during our stay. The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome, as did the bar staff and the restaurant staff. Thank you for making our stay one of the best we have experienced.

The hotel is at a great location. As I stay at the sea view room, the view is incredible. Walking distance to the main area and Salamanca Market. The staff are friendly and helpful with their hospitality, and the restaurant at hotel offers good quality food. Overall I really enjoy my stay.
