This was one of the best accomodation I’ve had in Australia. The view is lovely and can be seen in all the rooms that me and my family stayed in! The buffet breakfast is amazing, however the menu for the breakfast and the Atrium doesn’t change. But it is still good for those who don’t mind eating the same things. Staff are kind and helpful and if we go to Tasmania again we will surely be staying here once more! Highly recommended. It was a comfortable stay :)

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Chancellor Hobart. Booked for work, I initially thought it might be a generic corporate hotel, but I was wrong. The service was excellent, and the view of Constitution Dock from my floor-to-ceiling window was brilliant. The in-house bar and restaurants offered convenient, quality food and drink. Its location is perfect—right next to Australia's oldest pub, the Hope and Anchor. A winter highlight was the hot buttered rum at the bar, rounding out the genuine Tasmanian hospitality. It's the ideal base to explore this stunning part of Australia's southernmost city. Highly recommended.

Location is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. Though the room condition and cleanliness are not in very good state. Some parts are old and worn out. The view we had was very nice though. Another thing is the sound proof in the room is basically none…. People running around the halfway and screaming… you can hear all that. Plus the main entrance door wasn’t made nicely and most of the lights from corridor could get into your room. If you can sleep anywhere with some lights, you will probably be fine. But someone like me who needs complete darkness, this place would fail you.

Amazing location, kind staff and extra touches made it a wonderful place to stay. From the extra pillow service to the comfortable beds to the late check out to the easy walk distance and fabulous view of Hobart! Gym is tidy and the sauna was a great bonus! The bar had a nice atmosphere with live music to add to the atmosphere. I was given gifted a bottle of bubbles for my birthday which was lovely.

Location,Location,Location!! Great location ,fantastic room with Harbour view. Extremely comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast- plenty of gluten free options. Easy access to car park. Definitely stay again!
